The Cinema Snob (2009)

"Don't Go Near the Park"

In this now long-running series, writer-director Brad Jones play the title character, the Cinema Snob, a mainstream or high art critic who decides to review some of the most notoriously bad movies ever made. Since the original episode this series has grown to have a very high cult following and fans from around the world.

Our favorite Snob starts off by making fun of the entire "Don't" subgenre, which seems to be gaining fans each and every year. I'm not going to lie, back in the late 80s/early 90s I had a special section of VHS takes that started with "Don't." From here the Snob tears into this incredibly insane movie that is so crazy and so over-the-top that it's pretty much a must see. Overall this is another good episode, although there really aren't too many big laughs here. The actual review of the film is what keeps this episode so entertaining but, then again, I guess you can give credit to the actual film for being so weird.
