Entertaining episode with future potential.

Nice for the fiery pocket rocket that is Perez (Ashley Reyes) front and centre today, hopefully her story has legs. Star-crossed Geri (Odette Anable) and Cordell (Jared Padalecki) are getting on well too, past history tells us where that leads.

An enjoyable episode, something of a bounce back from recent offerings.

Enjoyment on Two Fronts
Sarah42315 April 2022
This episode managed to make me enjoy it on two fronts.

First, the director--a former Supernatural actor--added tons of SPN Easter eggs into the mix. Having watched that show for years, tripping across such a thing on live tv made me smile.

Second, the show itself kept focused on Walker--which is the most important point & reason we're here, after all.

We didn't get shelved for anything stand alone or insert, played just for fun. The writer moved the story forward and many characters, too.

--- From the Walker front:

I like that we got a thoughtful pull back from Geri (Odette Annable), reacting to the last ep's news.

Do I think it was fair to in any way blame Abby? NO. NOPE. NEVER.

But it was understood.

And my heart tore for Abby (Molly Hagan) & later Cordell (Jared Padalecki), trying to understand that pull back.

--- Also love, love, loved getting more of the story for Cassie (Ashley Perez)

Bless the writer (Katherine Alyse) for smoothly adding in what looks to be a really twisty mystery, as well as keeping Cassie in character--sassy, but sad; smart, yet with a blind spot; angry, but not unhinged.

--- All in all, a smooth episode from all angles.

Good job and a well-deserved ten.

I LOVED THIS EPISODE!

Warning: Spoilers
Thanks to Jensen Ackles coming in to direct, finally I get to watch a cohesive episode. Jensen did a great job directing and it truly felt like an organized show. He finally got Jared Padalecki to stop stumbling over his words and making these facial ticks. Also, I loved seeing Jensen's silhouette at the end, although I wish he had more of a big cameo appearance. It is a shame that Jensen will not direct on Walker permanently, because without him, this show doesn't stand a chance.

Best episode yet

This is my favorite episode of "Walker" to date. I was getting very frustrated with Jared Padalecki's performances in this show: the facial tics and stammering delivery. Jensen Ackles got a great performance out of his long-time friend and co-star. And the "Supernatural" Easter eggs were so much fun - even though a certain song had me nearly in tears. More like this, please!

Great episode

Jensen ackles' directing was kinda average i expected a lot better, especially with all this promo. On the other hand Odette, Jared and Molly really delivered stellar performances in their emotional scenes! It was also amazing to see Kansas play Carry On Wayward Son and i enjoyed all the supernatural easter eggs.

Very curious about Miles storyline!

Apart from the plot, which is very different from any of the current ones, the atmosphere of the actors is phenomenal, since day 1, thanks JP for this great team and the story just keeps getting better!!

Finally

Warning: Spoilers
The past few episodes have been kind of annoying with the whole family feud with the neighbors and Jerry being realated. But I saw Jensen Ackles was directing and I was super excited. Then finishing the episode with Kansas. And the supernatural theme song if you will. Everyone singing at the end literally reminded me of the supernatural convention on karaoke night. That was the best weekend. So this episode was pretty good and light-hearted no drama. I am curious to know if Miles is alive. Hopefully he is so Walker's new partner can get closure. Plus I think it will add an additional storyline that may be interesting.
