Liu raises with AQo, Doyle calls with J2s and Tilly re-raises to 5000 with AKo and both call. Flop comes J210, Tilly continues, Liu calls, Doyle raises to 24000 and Liu makes a suspect call with the gutshot. The turn pairs the 10 and both check, Liu makes a good 50000 bet on the river 7, repping trip 10's or 89 and Doyle folds. If you can navigate hands and take advantage of opportunities that arise like Liu did, then you can make such calls, but you cannot simply make the call for the value of the hand. Menon just shoves at every opportunity like an absolute donk, yet criticizes and clearly looks down on others. Obviously they enjoy his company, because they enjoy his money. Doyle's above that. Doyle nicely follows through against Hultman with the Ace-high. Doyle re-raises with Aces and gets 3 callers, he continuation bets 50000 and Menon just shoves 117000 with 2nd-pair QJo on a 3KQ flop, knowing he's in bad shape... cringe. He gets super lucky running it twice for a pot of 279000. I much prefer the old amateur/businessman who would try make a play here or there, but mostly try to reduce their losses, in it for the experience. The recent ones like this guy and Perkins of a previous season, just knowingly put their money in bad, taking the play and nuances out of the game.
