A girl digs up a hand on the beach on the tourist coast of Travemünde. It is later discovered that she belongs to the corpse of Björn Aufderheide, a man who was spending the weekend with other bowlers at the Strandidylle hotel. Finally, Finn Kiesewetter and Sandra Schwartenbeck discover that the victim was not exactly popular.

In front of a famous Lübeck restaurant and in broad daylight, a boy dressed as a gangster shoots and wounds a man. Later, when Finn Kiesewetter and Sandra Schwartenbeck arrive at the crime scene and find out, they immediately organize a search for the boy. Eventually, this leads them to the St. Gertrud orphanage, where Flori, the young shooter, lives.

The successful Lübeck architect Peter Zahr has been found murdered in one of his buildings under construction. In addition, the carpenter Herbert Priebe and his young partner Martens were also there at the time of the crime. Later, Priebe claims that he saw a black Mercedes driving away, a car similar to the one owned by the promoter, Norbert Sackberg. Later, when the alibis are verified, they discover that the developer and the architect were arguing heatedly in front of some witnesses the night before, while celebrating together with Councilor Flemming-Paulsen the awarding of this great project.
