the truth
Kirpianuscus29 December 2018
The cinematography could be defined as the lead virtue of this short film reminding many others. You know and you feel each scene. And the gestures of each character. A single mother, her boy and the man. Nothing new. All - predictable. And the force of each detail. The gift, the bed, the brocken mirror, the cigarret box, the hand of woman in grinder mouth. The stairs and the man front to the boy. One of films about the truth. And about the choices as roots of it. Maybe, a short film especially for Eastern public. Because , in this case, the silence is more important than the images. Not surprising for the art of Vyacheslav Ross. !Siberia, mon amour" could be the most significant argument for this.
