First 10mins kandappo cringe adichu marikumennu vicharichu but pinne pinne angot interesting aayi thonni.... cringe okke koranju... Avasanam okke aayappo disaster onnum allannu thonni...

This had a zen vibe to it and i guess that's why it worked for me, I completely forgot the convo's the two leads had soon after finishing this one as that wasn't what kept my interest.

It was the atmosphere, the music & background scores, both of which were good and carried a zen vibe to it.

But Edakku maduppokeundarnnu and wanted the duration to be like around 90mins.

Sarjano Khalid gave a watchworthy performance.... Priya miscast aanonuchoyicha idk mahabore aarnilla but Sarjano aayitulla combo verumbo valare weak aayi thoni.... Theere intensity illatha performance pole okke, Sarjano mallittu oru sidil perform cheyyumbo orutharam bland emotional expression(like nonactors usually have) ittu aa pair performance ineffective aakiya pole.

Director Before trilogy kandu inspired aayi edutha padamanonnu oru doubt und... Ath koreyokke interesting,realistic as well as amateurish conversation kondanu progress cheythathenkil ivde convos ne kaatum songs and bgm aanu kuthinarachirikunnathu but surprisingly athonnum athra bore aayi thonilla.... Writing lu nalla intensity undarnne this would've been a real good one but avde almost completely flat aarnu.

A Short film stretched to full length feature film

Very poorly written and badly executed. The basic thread of the film is good to make a short film but not a full length feature film. I feel pity to the people who watched this movie in theatres. Expected better from Ranjith Shankar. There is nothing new to watch in this movie. Felt like old wine in a new bottle. There is nothing new to offer from this movie. The only good thing about this movie was its length which thankfully is around 2 hours. There have been many movies in Malayalam surrounding college romance like classmates and hridayam but this piece of garbage is no where near it. Another weird thing about this movie is the time in the movie which actually seems like is being stretched beyond 24 hours.

Worst movie ever

Such a boring movie and cant imagine the story describes only a particular day..... The worst movie ever I have watched where I was waiting for better climax..... Half of the movie goes on songs only....... I was expecting a better story and climax....... But this was something more than worst. This was the first movie I watched in Malayalam so the worst experience ever. I expected little story and suspense in the story but I was wrong......In fact there is no story only in this movie. I would suggest not to watch such boring and dramatic movie which just describes 24hours of duration.... Well could be more entertaining..

Changed all of my concept about relationships .If you want to break up just do it . Wasting the time of viewers . No concept at all . Priya Variers act was so bad especially the english dialogues . No hate but it was very cringe that I gagged at it . No hate to the actress . She have acted wonderful in adar love movie but this movie was not worth the watch . If you want a full worth romance movie not go for this ine . Noy worth your time . I forgot to read the reviews before watching it and i regret it .

If you want to watch it go for it but not worth your time . There are lot of movies better than this .

Superb .. Movie

4 Years, a nostalgic journey back to college days .The film is a campus film told in an unusual approach .Oscillating around the emotions of the two central characters .the story takes us to our college memories .The film beautifully narrates the ego clash of the protagonist which leads to their breakup and the struggles to get back together .

The Heart whelming BGM complements the feel of the movie. Both main actors, Sarjano and Priya varrier ,have given an appreciable performance as Vishal and Gayathri. The melodious songs done by music director Sankar Sharma have blended into the mood of the movie. Salu K Thomas has done an awesome job as cinematographer in portraying the college ambience .Overall ,"4 Year" is a feel-good entertainer which all teenagers can always relate to .

3 stars, because the musicbwas nice.

The dudes that wrote this film needs to do a lot of soul searching if this is what love and moving on means to them.

So the whole film is set in 2 days, the last 2 days of the main characters college days and it mostly involves a lot of talking.

I love romantic films that takes place just through conversations but this one has no meaning or direction for its dialogues. The hero is a guy who just doesn't accept that they broke up and does everything to get the heroine to his bed. I don't know what kinda love stories these guy's have seen but this aint love. More like kalippante kanthari we malayalis are seeing nowadays on social media.

If you want to listen to that beautiful song just youtube it or spotify it.

Avoid this wreck.

WOW! Simply WOW. This is Priya's movie

This movie took me back to good old days. Felt like every scene was carefully woven and made it into a masterpiece. Great direction..great BGM.. Great Story but Priya the Princess of expressions takes the entire movie on her shoulders. She has turned into a great actress of our generation now. Request her to make more movies.

Wish we have more and more movies like this that touches out inner soul and brings back our good old memories..songs that touches your heart. Can this be please made into a tv series so that we can see more of Priya.!!!

Congratulations to the entire team who have come up with this classic!

Simply boring

Simple and straight boring. A story for an average short film was stretched into a two hour movie, unbearably lag and the way story narrated and the level of stupidity to say toxic relationship can eventually work out, I'm sure director was smoking some funny stuff. The only character that may look good or possible likable is the lead heroines friend. The hero is so horrible and acting is nothing less than garbage. Priya p warrier tried but it's not any good but compared to hero she was better You may think the music is good, at first I also felt that later realising that it was some what copied from aanandam movie.

Best film of the decade

I don't know why this film doesn't become a trendsetter. Such an awesome film. Priya and the hero acted very well. What chemistry! The film never lost its control over the script. I will rate this film as one of the best films of the decade. The direction music and frames everything is outstanding. The hero's mannerisms are just up to Mark. Every person who has a loved one will surely enjoy the film. I mean true love .this is an underrated movie. I saw a movie like Thai in Malayalam. If this is a Tamil film then it will become a blockbuster, for sure. Please watch the film guys .yoi will love it.

Nostalgic Movie!!

It is a well written nostalgic movie that portrays campus love story. Heart touching love story that lasts in your heart for quite a while even after we leave the theatre with tears in our eyes.

A well-choreographed cinematography took the film to a new level. Shalu K Thomas has done a great job as cinematographer in portraying the characters and it felt like we were back to the campus.

BGM! Beautiful background scores drive us through the real emotions of the characters. Sankar Sharma made beautiful melodious songs which carefully held the mood of the movie.

Finally, the two central characters Sarjano and Priya have done a wonderful Job and they really lived in that movie.

The best part of the film is the last 40 minutes, narrating love in a way that has never been seen in a Malayalam film before...

I think it is going to be one of the most discussed movies on the OTT platform. Even though the audience was fewer in number, everyone applauded at the end... I hope more people rush into theatres when they get to know it's a nice film. The film was a ride back to college memories. I could really feel those characters. The music also invigorated the feel of the movie. Both Priya and Sarjano have beautifully portrayed the central characters. And a wow to Ranjith Sankar ( Director)

A great Wowwww...

An amazing experience... Saw 4 years yesterday. The movie touched me so a lot that I broke into tears, bringing back my good old days in college. It left a sweet pain in my heart for quite a while recollecting those days. There is a director's brilliance in the way the story has been narrated, touching the hearts of the audience. A very good job was done in the musical section also. The songs were very soothing and up to the situation. Still, Vishal and Gayathri are hovering over my head. It's a movie which youth shouldn't miss. A great wow........ to entire team especially to the director Ranjith Sankar.

Well taken and subtle performance by Priya!

There have been many movies based on college romance. But relished watching this movie as I thought this was well taken, realistic and closer to reality of college romance. Priya has proved her nah sayers wrong with this one and I think she is going to go a long way with this awesome and a very mature performance. Sarjano supported well.

This one proved that movies need not always be about an incident or people. This movie is about memories and not just any memories but decisions that are taken as teenagers that decide the course of their life's. I loved how the movie was taken overall - great direction and screen play. The way the story ended is icing on the cake. Looking forward for more of Priya's performances and how she will fair in the wide range of roles to come her way.
