Joe's proposal to Laura contains a lot of Adam Green's real life proposal to his wife Rileah who plays "Dana" on the show. On the night of filming, when Rileah heard Joe deliver his lines for the first time she actually shouted out to Adam "Is nothing sacred to you!" which had the crew and audience all laughing hard.
Due to the tremendous amount of spoilers and plot twists in the last few moments of this season finale, the stage was cleared of all guests and audience members for the final act and the extras and zombie actors were all issued non-disclosures to sign before the last five minutes were shot.
There were almost ten full minutes cut out of this episode simply for timing purposes. One of the scenes included a "female bonding" scene between Dana and Corri where Dana drives a sick Corri home from the apartment and the two wind up throwing up all over each other in Dana's car. The deleted scenes are all included in the Season 2 DVD and BLU-RAY deleted scenes section.
In Lance Rockett's music video for "Love It Down Your Throat" there are many quick cameos including actor Derek Mears, screenwriter Todd Farmer, reality TV star Lacey Connor (from "Rock of Love" with Brett Michaels), director Dave Parker, producer Sarah Elbert, actor Dave Foy, and many more.
The song that Corri sings is an original song by her real-life band Brokedown Cadillac called "Can You Hear Me" and is available on iTunes.
