Better then most mainstream Hollywood fight & martial arts films

Another independent production from "Whirlwind Action", "Slug Street Scrappers 2" builds upon it's predecessor "Slug Street Scrappers" and delivers new, exciting thrills. Again several martial artists are able to show off their unique skillsets.

The main attraction, in my opinion, remains lead Micah Brock, who portrays the top fighter in both installments. Applying an inventive mix of Kukkiwon Taekwondo, Kickboxing and Muay Thai, it is an interesting style brought to the screen. Also kudos to his and the team's ability to bring together such talented individuals by the likes of Shaun Charney, Jimmy Chhiu, Tess Kielhamer, Anna Ranoso and Kathelyne Brooke.

Along with other performers the cast does a solid job of moving an interesting storyline at a solid pace, with some truly well choreographed fight scenes. Hollywood could learn a thing or two from these people...

Written, directed and edited by Micah Brock, the film is sure to entertain. Bring on the sequels!

This whole series is amazing, if you haven't seen either movie or even then backrounds of the actors that are in the film, then you are missing out!

I don't want to say anything about the film directly so I don't spoil it for those who have had the misfortune of not seeing this film. But this film is not like a lot of other fighting movies, most movies have cheap shots and stunt double for every character, but every Actor and Actress in this film has a lot of experience in martial arts so there is a very high level of authenticity to see, After watching this movie you will be so pumped up you will want to be fighting yourself, and what better way to learn then from Micah Brock Himself on youtube as "Kwonkciker". 2 Thumbs up for this movie, Now stop reading this and go watch it!

Quite honestly I love the Slug Street Scrappers series in its entirety. Whirlwind Action brilliantly combines amazing fight scenes with a light comedic atmosphere.

No this isn't your "shoot 'em up" style movies and there isn't a lot of blood with a dramatic plot. To put it in the best terms that I can, its more of real life street fighter kind of thing.

The fight scenes were phenomenal. As you will see when you watch this each character is proficient in a different style of martial arts, the fight choreography stays true to each martial art and portrays it at its finest.

Great Job guys I can't wait to see number 3.

Street Fighter meets Ranma 1/2

Warning: Spoilers
Get ready to be sucked into the world of SLUG STREET SCRAPPERS with this ambitious sequel that is bigger and badder than the first film.

The sequel successfully establishes a world where the Sluggers exist, constantly competing for higher and higher rankings.

Within this world there are wacky characters inspired no doubt from fighting games such as Street Fighter, Dead or Alive, Tekken, Mortal Kombat, Double Dragon, and Streets of Rage.

These wacky characters are played by highly talented actors that bring something to the table that will definitely catch your eye. And this time we are treated with a much larger roster. You want to watch the first film so that you get to see Punchy McBritches played by Jessie Graff who wows the audience with her martial gymnastics and muscular physique.

But in this film, there are just too many interesting characters that you don't want to miss! And like I said before EVERYONE brings something note worthy to the table. Whether it's believable crisp looking fighting skills, amazing acrobatic trick martial arts moves, highly skilled traditional martial arts moves, display of fitness and flexibility, solid acting, or model like looks.

With these video game characters come to life, we have a world that is clear and beautifully shot, editing is smooth, the beginning boasts the character roster in a music video format which works well to bring the excitement. The location for the fight scene between Broker and Knuckles in particular is very memorable. The story reminds me of the popular anime Ranma 1/2, love comedy mixed with martial arts.

On a personal note I have to say that, having watched tons of martial arts action B-movies from the 90s, I really like it when the main character is a kickboxer like Don the Dragon Wilson and Olivier Gruner just to name the few. Micah Brock is a kickboxer who plays such a role.

This has got to be one of the best unique and independent films I've ever seen on Youtube. A successful blend of high skill martial arts with action packed fights scenes with wacky comedy that doesn't take itself too seriously.
