Chishiya best character to watch and one of the best games
xricit-chi3224 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This is so far for me one of the best episode crossing to episode 4 btw so that I rate this an 8. This season episodes are a little long and drag a little, but this episode is the most entertaining so far after the first 2. One reason is Chishiya is like the best character so far in the series, and to put him in the Jack of Hearts game and show more of him is a bonus something season 1 did not. The Jack of Hearts game is very fun to watch and well constructed. Honestly, the red card games both Hearts and Diamonds tend to be high stakes and fun as more people die in these type of games other than some exceptions like Queen of Diamond later in the last episode and the King of Spades where the Citizen is a former military guy who easily killed off a lot of players. The black card games tend to be a cake walk as its more teamwork and physicality with some spade games can be deadly if you are not an active person. The red ones deal with mentality like betrayal and logic thinking which are meant to trick players.

I can't stop watching..
marwan114 January 2023
Everything in the episode is amazing... The drama .... The idea.... The games ..... I love everything..... This is the 3th episode in the same time I can't stop because the ideas of games and the element of fear and And the tension I experienced with the characters was literally unnatural. I never got tired of watching, the rhythm and the escalation of new events and games. It was legendary.... I was very affected at the beginning and very nervous at the end... A wonderful series, and I hope it continues like this .,..,.,.,..,..,..,,..,.,...,..,..,.,,.,,.....,.,.,.,.,,..,.,.,.,,...,.,.,..,.,..

"On the edge of my seat" episode
Mesina0224 February 2023
It's been quite a while since I've seen an Alice in Borderland episode where I was just engaged the entire time. This is undoubtedly one of the best episodes in the show so far. The way it handles every moment, every scene, it just makes everything seem to work effortlessly.

This was definitely "the" episode where you could actually feel the tension and know how much is actually at stake for both games. The games themselves are good in their own way. While one is carried by the emotion behind it, the other is a mystery where it slowly unfolds into mayhem.

I was initially worried because I thought the way they ended that clubs game was a perfect way to end the episode. Unfortunately the game itself kind of a took a while to conclude so they had time to fit the other game here. I was afraid that whatever came after would have ruined the emotional moment. Thankfully I was proved wrong with the Jack of Hearts game being one of the most exhilarating games in the series so far.

I was on board from the moment the game started. What really made this work was how it was pulling you in on the mystery as to who the imposter was. This was a game where I thought I knew what was going to happen but as the episode was closing in on it's end, I realized that the show was actively misleading me. I thought that was a great thing they did and it just makes the conclusion to the game much more impactful.

I would say my only gripe would be that they crammed two games in one episode. I think it would have benefited both games if they were just contained in an episode of it's own. But other than that, this was a great episode.

WOW. Another level of games this season.
bkjshfd23 December 2022
I have so much to say about the Jack of Hearts game but I'll keep this brief. I know this season started out slow but WOW this episode is incredible. You truly get to see the best and worst of every character, and the game is so, so brilliantly written.

While the clubs game at the beginning of the episode is exciting as well, the hearts games truly dig into the life and morality of each of the characters. Choosing to focus on Chishiya just adds to it - as he often has interesting motivations already. This one kept me on the edge of my seat, and I'm so excited for the rest of the season. These games are even more intense than last season - and I can't wait to see how they get out of this one.

The Best Episode in Season 2 of Alice in Borderland
mangayaaljohn27 December 2022
This is by far, the best episode in Season 2, if not all seasons of Alice in Borderland. The thrill and excitement that I felt watching this episode is immeasurable. The addition of Chishiya in the game of Jack of Hearts is an excellent move. In addition to well performed acts from the characters, the game itself is brilliant and well-written. Seeing how human behavior work amidst pressure is a sight to see while the twists and turns are fabulous. The only negative thing that I can say about the episode is the ending. It felt incomplete in a way. I wish that they showed what they did to the Jack of hearts, instead of jumping in another scene where Chishiya made his way out. Overall, it is a 10/10.

Getting better (Ep 3&4)
mikeyboy2630 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
So this and the following episode (Ep#2.4) are the best so far. After watching the first two episodes of this season i was left disappointed and thought,oh yeah...this show has "jumped the shark!" The car scenes from Ep 1 was ok , but not nothing special. The dude with the semi automatic (or sub machine gun) was a little bit unbelievable as he appeared to be everywhere. Mostly i was getting frustrated and cringing at the really cheesy dialogue which continued (and got worse!) in episode 2. In addition the game at the container or dock yards was not that exciting and left me a little bored. I was thinking so, "maybe this was like this in the last session too?" Maybe I'm just being nostalgic? So i went back and watched one of my favourite episodes from season 1 (ep.2 ) were the game takes place at a huge residential apartment block. I really enjoyed this episode, the game was exciting and suspenseful and you feel the anxiety and claustrophobia of the contestants trying to escape two psychos "Taggers" with sub machine guns. And.....i was right the the dialogue was much less cheesy. Anyway what about the this episode you may be asking?? Well, firstly the game the Prison where they have to guess the suit (cards) on the collar around their neck or die, was very clever and had me engaged with the story and all the different characters involved. The explanation at the end how they "smoked out" the King of Jacks was a little confusing and i had to replay a few times to understand, but nonetheless the story and dialogue improved and the prison was a perfect place for the game just as the apartment block was in Ep1.2 Lets see where we go from here.

Nice games
funnycommentor11 February 2023
The plot of episode 3 was very interesting and I really liked that episode. The storyline of season 2 is very well written, however they still haven't explained us what is happening. So far, most games of season 2 aren't as intense as the games of season 1. Also, the kills of season 2 are kinda more emotional, because we have the chance to get to know more things about the characters. The ending scene of episode 3 was kinda unexpected and I really wanna know what's gonna happen on episode 4. So far, I really like season 2, however I prefer the games of season 1 because they were more action-filled.

Improving!
Leofwine_draca14 February 2023
The third episode of this season really goes all-out and becomes as good as the original first season. We begin with the end of the last episode's game finishing up, after the annoying cliffhanger, and it does close in a satisfying way. The only downside here is that we ge a lot of drawn out talk which slows things down considerably, although at the same time Kyuma is such an interesting character I didn't mind too much. However, where this really excels is the next game, which we get into straight away. It's like something out of SQUID GAME: seemingly straightforward and innocuous, but turning out to be truly vicious. I can't wait to see what happens next...

Probably my least favorite episode
backup-5036218 June 2023
The emotional moment between Arisu and Kyuma in the end was fantastic, but the episode tanks hard after that.

This show's biggest problems start shining when we're introduced to a new game, where Chishiya is the main character for us to follow.

He's a flat character, but that's not the issue, it's that this show's cartoonishness goes overboard with the new side characters, who are so cartoonish and ridiculous, that they just take you out of the serious life-and-death vibe the show is going for. And that's not the first time this happens.

At least the show has the decency to kill the annoying new characters off eventually, but wow, this overly-cartoonish characters thing is a recurring problem.

Alice in Borderland.
bombersflyup26 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Didn't really need to carryover to another episode, it was predictable that Tatta would win them the game anyway, because Arisu had simply acknowledged him, only the how was in question. Didn't need the flashback and full-circle ending though. Wasn't necessary to trick the guy either, he doesn't have to accept to be battled. The second game's okay, however the characters are lacking and it gets a tad repetitive. This Chishiya guy is always an emotionless know it all. There's no chance the Jack of Hearts would ever bring attention to themselves, so we knew it wasn't any of those people. When down to five, the two submissive people are the most likely.
