one of the most piercing video for 90s children in postUSSR space

Old joke: Any street wall in Russia has two words with three letters ... well , the second is "Цой" . He was a singer who have found simple and the straightest words for common feelings in USSR 80-es - gasping for freedom and changes. His most popular songs in movies are "We are waiting for changes" in Soloviev's "ASSA" as cool echo between people (the same song appears in modern Russian motion picture "Pyl (The Dust)" 2005 with sign language translation for those who can't hear), and "Group of blood" in Nurgaliev's "Igla (The needle)" 1988. This movie - "Konets kanikul (The end of holidays)" is the first movie with him as an actor, quite rare and known mostly among fans. So it's dignity not in actor's game or operator's mastery .. There is a clear feeling of the near underground's end in this short film. The End not because people give up or stop their revolution - just because of invisible tiredness of humdrum colourless existence with uncatchable peace in there. The Feeling that you stay alone on common battle field among friends who are going away and everything become sad and unstable. You can only look around and sing about it. The filing that will be great shown in Kira Muratova's "Astenicheskiy sindrom (chronic tiredness syndrome)" in 1990.
