Incredibly Cheesy

The acting was terrible there were several times their grammar was really bad. The camera quality was totally subpar and during fights the camera zoomed in on random places so you couldn't see the whole scene. The background music was so loud that you could barely hear the people speaking. The older teen comes off as SUPER rebellious at the beginning of the movie then suddenly out of nowhere cares about her family and the pig. It's definitely not worth wasting your time on. I usually don't even write reviews on movies but it has 6+ stars somehow and definitely isn't a 6 star movie. I wouldn't recommend this movie unless you feel like watching something so awful it's funny.

Really good for a micro budget film

I'm leaving this review in response to the other review, which points out that this isn't the most high quality movie. I think it's important to note that this is a micro budget film.

Even in the independent film industry, most movies have at least half million dollar budgets, so the fact that this movie is cohesive and coherent is pretty impressive, considering the tiny budget it was made on.

Acting is decent, the plot is good, and camera work is done as best you can on a budget. Add in some pretty nice cinematography here and there, when it comes together as a pretty good movie.

You can't just shut down an entire block or an entire neighborhood when you've got a budget so you're really limited with what you can shoot. That being said this movie feels a lot better and a lot more coherent than most micro budget and small budget movies I've seen.

Surprisingly fun for the whole family

Considering this is a very small budget film, I wasn't expected to be blown away. But alas, I most definitely was. Filmed across a beautiful landscape with gorgeous cinematography, and featuring some very decent acting and music, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this with my whole family.

The plot has some dark moments but should be safe for most children, and the pig Elvis guides viewers bravely through the adventure. There are some moments when you can tell this is a small budget movie, but if you can take that for what it is, your left with an entertaining and uplifting tale of life on the farm.
