This episode contains some of canon material and a big piece of filler. Konoha's rebuilding starts. Kotetsu feels it's a pity that all the buildings from the age of the previous Hokages was destroyed. Genma says that the Hokages left them other things too. And so, Yamato starts to use his wood jutsu, Mokuton, to build houses and take advantage of the rescued wood. The other villagers are glad, thinking the reconstruction will be fast, but Yamato is not, as he will get tired soon. In the meantime, somewhere else in Konoha, other villagers are working with wood pillars to rebuild, while Naruto and Sakura are sitting together. He is sad, and questions about Tsunade's state, she says the Hokage is still on coma. At the beginning of last episode (179), she explained that Tsunade entered on a comatose state because she used the special technique to heal all the villagers with Katsuyu. That consumed all her energy. Naruto ponders all the things he would like to tell Tsunade, and Sakura tries to comfort him, saying that their Hokage will wake up soon, she is a strong woman. Still, Sakura thinks that she also needs to be comfort, she as sad as him. Then, two old friends visit them: Inari and Tazuna. They are surprised to see them, Naruto checks how much Inari grew up, and that Tazuna got older. They tell that they came to help in the rebuild, answering a message from Konoha. Tazuna is thankful to them for helping that time against Gato, so the Land of Waves will help now, returning the favor. Inari flatters Sakura by saying now she is more pretty, and tells Naruto that he became a construction worker like his grandfather. This part was nice. Here is explained how Konoha is being reconstructed, not only by Yamato, who does a of the job, also by villagers and friendly neighbours like Tazuna and Inari. And their appearance served to bring some comfort to both Naruto and Sakura. This was a reminder that the people they helped in the past will always be grateful. Of course, on the next episode, Kakashi also finds them, and the happy reunion is kind of ruined when Tazuna asks about Sasuke. Naruto will make up a lie (that they had a fight, an argument, so Sasuke left the village for a while), to cover up (with Sakura thanking him). Tazuna will wonder about a love triangle, and Naruto will dismiss it, all as a comedic relief. Anyway, all this was a nice moment by showing that Naruto and Sakura still spend time together after defeating Pain. They still share the same worries, the same sadness, now about Tsunade. It's undeniable how much they share. And all this is canon, for some reason, Kishimoto usually shows them together, it's like he intended to pair them many times, which is the logic natural course for the characters.

Then, the filler part consists in how Naruto and Inari remember the last time they saw each other. After the mission back then, Naruto forgot a free ticket for Ichiraku, so he insisted on returning to the Land of waves to retrieve it. Kakashi sent Sasuke after him. On the road, they found some of Gato's thugs who were confronting Inari and other kids. With teamwork, Naruto and Sasuke managed to save the kids, and help the Land of the Waves again. Inari also kept forward, inspired by Naruto, and had a role in saving the other kids, who previously mistreated him. At the end, everything turned well, only that Naruto didn't get his free ticket back. This filler piece wasn't so good, but at least tried to depict some moments of teamwork that Naruto and Sasuke shared. It was like a reminding of how things were back then, when Sasuke was a boy, with a big trauma, but with some decency and care for the people around him. Then, the rest showed much of repeated themes of that arc (Naruto's clones, his stubborn dumb knucklehead immature attitude, Inari's efforts to follow what his "father" believed). For all that, the filler part is won't be liked by much people. Anyway, the canon part is the important.
