I did not expect to love the ending this much

The last episode of the season was tense, dramatic, romantic and emotional. A lovely bittersweet ending to a season full of emotion. The end scene brought me to tears which I did not expect one bit. The acting and casting this season was great. I wasn't paying great attention at the start and it took me a moment to realise who was who with the flashbacks but once I realised the casting could not have been anymore spot on. I think a season 2 would be interesting but not all that necessary, though I would be tuning in for it for sure nonetheless. A spin off series done extremely well! I wish I still had more episodes to watch!

Masterclass In Compassion

Warning: Spoilers
Yes, the monarchy has done terrible things, this show ignores all of that, I know this, we ALL know this, so moving on with this fictional retelling.

I have no idea what the relationship was like between the real Charlotte & George, but this version is sublime. Two people placed in impossible situations, with gargantuan expectations placed upon them... who WOULDN'T go a bit mad?!!?

As someone with a family member who is declining rapidly with dementia, I was in tears watching how Charlotte handled "Farmer George." The absolutely fearless and unbridled love she has for him informs her compassionate care in a way that I found profoundly moving & beautiful.

Brilliant spin-off. Of course I want more, but it was absolutely perfect as is.

I wouldn't even think this was to be one of my favourite love stories

Warning: Spoilers
Especially this last episode was hell of a ride. I cried. A lot. But not for a disaster or for a trajedy. Just for seeing how love remained. When they looked at each other under bed, they were still seeing those kids that are in love after all those years. And there was closure for every character. We could see which paths they choose to walk. And I, personally have grown love for all. As their nature, spin offs are quite tend to disappoint. But this was surprising. In a good way. It is not a ten because it is a cinematographic masterpiece. Even if it was I wouldn't know. It is just because I purely enjoyed it. Would I want an another season, NO. Now we know more of the world of Bridgerton, we know what those unspoken characters have been through. And that is quite enough. Queen Charlotte will never be the same for me.

I cried a whole lot and it was all so good

This show is a celebration of human freedom. It offers an organic feminist and queer-empowering, humanizing narrative without any sense of artificiality.

Brimsley's relationship with Reynolds and their loyalty, it stole my heart. A lovely historical fiction. The dancing scene teared me up a bit.

Wish they spent more time with the Queen and Brimsley. Or the King's mom . What amazing well backed characters. Cherished so much of it. And by the end of the season finale i was sobbing embarrassingly. The cast has been so spot on .

May be they will come with a season 2, I would definitely tune in.

But as is , this one season was so satisfying.
