Fourth Us indie deal in 18 months
ITV has acquired Diga Vision, the Us indie responsible for MTV’s remake of Teen Wolf.
The deal marks ITV’s fourth Us indie deal in the last 18 months following the purchases of Duck Dynasty producer Gurney Productions, Cake Boss indie High Noon Entertainment and Thinkfactory Media, producer of Hatfields and McCoys.
ITV has bought a 51% stake in the business and has taken an option to buy the remainder of the company over the next three to six years.
Although ITV has not disclosed how much it paid for Diga Vision, it said that the multiple paid is similar to the range paid on previous acquisitions, thought to be around eight times earnings.
Diga was set up in 2011 by former MTV executives Tony Disanto, who was president of programming at the cable network, and its head of series development Liz Gateley, along with backing from Ben Silverman’s Electus.

Many people suspect their homes are haunted, but so few people think that of their genitalia.
Ke$ha, however, is not most people.
In the Season 2 premiere of MTV's "Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life" on Wednesday, Oct. 30, she uses a ghost meter, which is akin to a Geiger counter for spirits. The device starts clicking as it is passed in front of her body.
"I am very much a believer of the supernatural," Ke$ha tells Zap2it. "I like to scare myself. I love scaring the p*** out of myself. If I have a choice of staying in a five-star hotel or a haunted s*** shack I would rather stay at the s*** shack and scare myself. We will drive five hours in the wrong direction to stay in the haunted hotel."
With that mindset, she asked her spiritual adviser why objects seemed to be moving on their own in her house,...

She’s at it again! Ke$ha debuted the season two trailer for her MTV reality series “My Crazy Beautiful Life” on Wednesday (September 25).
In the clip, the “Tik Tok” singer shows of her super colorful family including Pebe, her mother, Louie, her 14-year-old brother, Lagan and Kalan, her cousin and best friend.
Last season was well-received on the station and featured a number of eccentric events including Ke$ha chugging her own urine.
When chatting about the controversial event, the blondie told the Hollywood Reporter, “I'm also just one that doesn't shy away from things. I'm not good at saying no so I just figure, f--- it, I'll try anything once. So I tried it. I wouldn't recommend it. It was pretty gross. And I don't think it really did anything very beneficial to me so, yeah, I wouldn't probably do it again."

London, May 23: Kesha claims to drink her own urine in a revolting clip from her MTV reality show 'My Crazy Beautiful Life'.
In the footage, the 'Tik Tok' singer can be seen sitting in a car with her best friend Savannah, who is telling the star how her mother once went for mountaineering with a woman who drinks her own pee every day, the Sun reported.
Kesha, then asks "Isn't it good for you? I'll drink my own pee."
The camera then cuts away and a sound of weeing is heard.
Savannah then asks: "Could you wait 'till we're outside?"
The next footage shows the singer holding a large water bottle, which is a third full of liquid.
Kesha is then seen taking a sip from the bottle as her friends groan.

I missed the first episode of MTV's “Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life” last week but if the second episode, which aired Tuesday night is any indication, I missed nothing. As we catch up with Ke$ha in this six-episode “documentary” culled from footage shot by her brother Lagan Sebert over a two-year period, it’s June 2011. This immediately begs the question, “Why on earth would we care about seeing footage that’s two years old?” She’s headed to play at Glastonbury and she’s lost her voice, but even more trouble looms as one of her two tour buses breaks down en route to...

At its upfront today, MTV is announcing a pilot order to a series adaptation of the hit horror film franchise Scream. At the event, held at the Beacon Theatre in New York, the cable network announced new unscripted series Generation Cryo, Nurse Nation as well as The Hook-Up, which Deadline wrote about yesterday. Additionally, Snooki & Jwoww has been renewed for a third season. MTV is working on Scream with the films’ producer, the Weinsteins’ Dimension Films and former top MTV execs Tony Disanto and Liz Gateley’s Diga Vision, which is behind MTV’s Teen Wolf and new reality series Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life. The project originally landed at MTV almost a year ago, brought in by previous MTV programming head David Janollari. The pilot green light is suprising, given the fact that there is no specific concept or a writer for the adaptation yet. The network recently...

New York -- Ke$ha Kardashian? Not quite.
The wild and playful pop star is a huge fan of the swarm of Kardashian reality shows, but says her new series is far from what you see on the small screen from Kim, Kourtney and Khloe.

I do not look as pretty as they do – like at all. During my show, there's a lot of moments with no makeup at all, like I'm in a T-shirt running around in my underwear."

It's one thing to be an uninhibited pop star who talks freely about getting wasted and hooking up with strangers, and then playing up that image in the media. But what's it like doing all that in front of your brother?
That's the situation with "Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life," the MTV series premiering Tuesday, April 23, in which the singer behind such party anthems as "Tik Tok" and "Die Young," allowed her brother, journalist Lagan Sebert, to film pretty much her every move for two years. Ke$ha, the pop star best known for butchering spelling and looking like she rolled in a grease bath of glitter and melted crayons, is the subject of a new documentary series on MTV, filmed by her brother Lagan Sebert. With exceptionally energetic editing, Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life chronicles the singer's exploits over two years, juxtaposing her "partying for a living" with quieter, emotional moments like, er, stalking her ex-boyfriend Harold. Ke$ha was everywhere in 2010 when her single "TiK ToK" catapulted her into the pop conscious, after which she enjoyed a run of six consecutive Top 10 singles.

Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life Tuesday, April 23 MTV, 11pm Et I’ll admit that when the publicists scheduled my interview with Ke$ha for 10:20am I wondered if maybe that meant she was on the other side of the world. Because Ke$ha is probably the pop culture zeigeist's best example of how to keep things trashy and still relatively well-put together (take notes, Lindsay Lohan), this is perfect fodder for MTV to hurl at our youth right in between marathons of Teen Mom and Catfish and 16 and Pregnant and Jersey Shore and other shows that further exemplify how to do hoodrat stuff with your friends. Last night on MTV's premiere of Nikki & Sara Live, a new reality series was born, starring your favorite glitter-filled celebrity, and Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life will ostensibly follow Ke$ha through the studio, to the stage, and all sorts of dive-y placees, like dive bars and the occasional dumpster diving. Glittery entertainment professional Ke$ha has a new documentary series (series!) coming out on MTV. The title, Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life is a) the same as her forthcoming book, b) probably not a reference to Ke$ha living her life in strict emulation of the Kirsten Dunst film Crazy/Beautiful, and c) totally a byproduct of this post-My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy World we live in. The program premieres in April. Ke$ha's brother directed it, but Beyoncé directed a doc about herself, so it's fine.

Great news you guys: Billboard is reporting that super scribe, I mean singer, Ke$ha is writing an illustrated autobiography (aka picture book) called Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life. Lucky us! Just what the world needs -- a book written by a 25-year-old whose preferred red-carpet accessory is a mannequin head. I’m sure this book will be the stuff of legends. Someone should alert the halls of literature that the Bronte sisters have some stiff competition headed their way.

The book, which is being published by Touchstone, will feature Ke$ha's "thoughts and reflections" and pictures from her childhood all the way through her recent tour. I can hardly wait. What I really need to add light to my dark life is the inner "thoughts" and oh-so-deep "reflections" of a self-proclaimed party animal in her mid-twenties, who can’t spell tick tock, has "[link...
