Really good
Red_Identity10 December 2014
Another really surprising addition to the list of indies I've seen this year. The lead, Amy Grantham, is truly fantastic. I've never seen her in anything else and don't know if this was her first film ever, but she truly managed to give her character so many shades that were illustrated in the writing, and she brought them into life beautifully. You really get immeshed just watching her in day to day life, and she brings such a warmth and naturally that is stripped from any superficiality. I think this is a great film very simple but hugely engrossing and effective in its themes and absolutely deserves to be seen more. I hope I see Grantham in other stuff in the future.

A woman's life restarts in more than one sense
Turin_Horse8 September 2013
What may happen in a woman's life in her twenties who is in the last stages of a cancer treatment and has a settled relation living with a divorced man in his fifties and father of two children??... maybe nothing similar to what happens to Lily, the protagonist of this film, but it is worth to have a look at the possibilities depicted in this nice, introspective and interesting film. No final answers are given, but so is life often, opening new options that we may choose to take or drop. As long as there is life, there will be different ways to live it.

The film moves almost exclusively around the protagonist and her life circumstances, and Amy Grantham gives a good, balanced and believable performance. The film is tender, but very far from falling in trite and mawkish sentimentalism.
