I am glued to this outstanding TV show from the other side of the Alps, an awesome thriller crime TV series speaking of the Mafia as it actually exists, this true plague, cancer that contaminates the entire Italian society since so many years now. The mafia shown in another way if you compare to the GODFATHER series or so many more features, American, or even Italian from the seventies. This way of telling those mafia tales remind me the way Damiano Damiani or Pasquale Squetteri did in their time. Some action sequences of course, but mainly inside characters way of telling, with so many poignant characters. And I am surprised to see here french actors who, for some of them, are not usual to so evil mafia characters, bosses and godfathers. Such as, for instance, Pierre Mondy who is here very convincing as a terrific, ruthless gang leader. Pierre Mondy as a mob leader, bloody, brutal. I had the feeling to dream. It is one of the most amazing crime TV show ever, and for once, not an American one.
