Jasper finds himself in a remand prison, but even on the inside, the clever criminologist finds himself investigating a murder.
I've had an on off thing with this show since it started, at times it's been very good, at times it's been a slog, but credit where it's due, this was a strong start to the new series.
It's a clever mystery, intriguing, it was always going to be interesting to learn how Jasper would be involved from behind bars.
What I thought worked really well, was seeing Jasper outside of his comfort zone, for someone so obsessed with germs and cleanliness, prison would be the most impossibly, awful environment.
I notice the surreal cutaways were absent, we didn't get to see any of those mind wanders.
Miller was excellent as always. Phil McKee was rather good as the villain behind bars.
8/10.
