Absolute Masterpiece
almudyousefgf12 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was amazing in every different aspect. The villain in the fight was terrifying and add to that the extremely good sound design, the fight gave me chills, as for rukia her character development here was amazing with her brother and it was really emotional but also epic at the same time. The fight overall is probably one of the best in the series and the episode always felt thrilling as there weren't any cuts from the actual fight when it was happening. Overall I just really cant come up with words to describe how amazing the episode was. I hope bleach tybw keeps up with this level of quality in future episodes.

As a One Piece fan, this is PEAK SHOUNEN/FICTION
KurorihS-167315 August 2023
THIS is what the Gear 5 episodes should have looked like: State-of-the-art direction, compositing, art, animation, SFX, sound design, voice-acting, pacing, etc etc. This is what an actual "peak masterpiece" of an episode looks like, and you can tell BLEACH TYBW is a passion project because the staff made sure to ooze that in every second of their work. After week in and week out of disappointment and humiliation from the overhyped and soulless cash-grabbing episodes of One Piece, I decided to catch up with BLEACH and I was NOT disappointed. Peak shounen and best of the Big 3 material right here.

An absolutely beautiful character arc and Bankai for Rukia and an incredible character in As Nodt which Studio Pierrot utterly nailed in capturing the terror of; and even Byakuya got extra character development here with his Shikai-Bankai twist. Such unique and creative abilities with engaging dialogue and character dynamics.

I am absolutely repulsed at all the One Piece fans downvoting this episode out of envy. I can see why we One Piece fans are the punching bags and laughingstocks of the anime community, and I am no longer mad at Attack on Titan fans for creating hundreds of accounts to downvote us. BLEACH is such a sophisticated, sleek and beautiful work of art and as a One Piece fan, I'm jealous of how much Bleachads are winning haha!

Studio Pierrot WOW Best episode of Cour 2 by FAR
richbalr12 August 2023
This episode genuinely was a cinematic experience, from the ost at the end of the episode, the absolute amazing animation and cg, Phenomenal episode. By far in my opinion the best episode of this cour so far and it's only going to get better for the remaining episodes left of cour 2 TYBW. The score at the end of the episode with the credits rolling in the background as the soul reaper rukia shows her true Bankai is a sight to behold and the animation in this episode was just too good. Overall phenomenal episode and it's only going to get better now for rest of the season, studio Pierrot are really pulling out all the stops for bleach TYBW.

Rukia vs As Nodt or The most beautiful Bankai in Bleach: "Hakka no Togame"
TomiMaster1412 August 2023
Bleach TYBW Part 2: The Separation Episode 6: "The White Haze" - The most scariest and also the most beautiful Bleach episode to date! Peak Bleach content from start to finish for me.

Studio Pierrot went crazy, this is legit one of the best composition episodes I've seen in a long time!

Big recognition to As Nodt voice Actor, he did a masterful job with this character, so many goosebumps, just the voice, and combined with the brutal and scary visual is an another level experience.

And our Rukia..., became a literal Goddess! Hakka no Togame was as beautiful as I imagined.

And As Nodt..., yeah I think that he is one of my favourite Stern Ritter, after this episode for sure. He is an absolute madness, who comes to you to experience FEAR. And his Vollständig was really the scariest thing that ever happened in Bleach History.

And I also I really like that episode 6 of TYBW part 1 has Yamamoto's "Hottest and Badass" Bankai then in episode 6 of TYBW part 2 has Rukia's "Coldest and Gorgeous" Bankai. What a parallel!

And it was good too see Byakuya back, to help a bit his little sister, who became so powerful, at and the end it was great to see the two of them together, it was emotional.

And I would like to mention the execution of Cang Du and BG9. All I can say is that it was brutal...

And yeah Ichigo is ready and coming to help Soul Society!

This was probably my favorite episode of the TYBW yet and I can't even believe that..., wow!

Yess Bleach I want more Greatness after this fantastic episode!

Beautiful
croll-0399213 August 2023
Beautiful adaptation, amazing soundtrack, voice acting was phenomenal, the story boarding was perfect, the art style was on point and the animation was very gorgeous and fluid with fantastic combination between cg and 2d. I've watched the episode more than 5 times it stills amazes me every time. The manga e was fantastic, but this adaptation was better than the original and I appreciate the work that Kubo, Taguchi, and Sagisu and many other are putting to make TYBW what was supposed to be in the first place without any pressures and without deadlines. Also thanks to Perriot to make this possible.

Absolutely perfect
nxhidyeet12 August 2023
This episode was so good the animation was good and rukias bankai was soooool good byakuya showing how powerful his shikai was was cool and rukia showing her new ability was cool I didn't really like how they didn't animate this one panel of rukia but other than that it's amazing only bad thing is there weren't many anime only scenes but other that it was pretty exquisite next episode is going to be really really good also it was smart leaving the isane and yachiru scene at the end for suspense this episode delivered and met my expectations. Thousand year blood war has been really good especially last 2 episodes.

A truly masterpiece
luizcarlos-0936214 August 2023
A truly masterpiece. What a episode. Sensational direction, OST's, animation and dubbing. Take development, take exciting momentum, take appealing power. It's no exaggeration to say that this might be one of the best episodes of the entire franchise. Rukia had her moment in the spotlight flawlessly. Genuinely this episode owed nothing to any other studio!

Very cool to see the parallel of the most beautiful bankai against a terrifying and bizarre enemy. By the way, this was one of the best bankai introductions. Sensational direction and pace of the episode. And finally, I wanted to highlight how cool As Nodt is, a character who had a voice actor at the height. What a magnificent performance.

It's simply marvelous
uchihasaskesolo14 August 2023
It was an incredible episode, Rukia's bankai was beautiful but I didn't expect it to be this good, it was absolutely amazing. I think Gremmy vs Zaraki will also have such beautiful animations, I'm looking forward to Gremmy vs Zaraki, I hope it will be a good fight. As nodt's drawings were beautiful, the fear-inducing aura was also beautiful, and byakuya's show with senbonzakura at the end was beautiful, the glow, the color, etc. Was beautiful, and Rukia was a snow princess. The horror animations made by As nodt were also beautiful, rukia's shouting and so on are simply beyond magnificent, I hope rukia will appear more in the war, anyway, anime that deserves 10 stars.

Best animated shonen episode EVER
meave-5430713 August 2023
I'm a Naruto fan, but I've never seen an episode so beautifully animated. I can't get this episode out of my head since yesterday I had chills the whole time and when Rukia finally said « Bankai, Hakka no Togame » I shed a tear. And I'm not even exaggerating it was THAT beautiful. The OSTs, pacing, animation, moments everything was good. And this feeling of relief when Byakuya admit that Rukia is strong, I felt so proud for her. Their relationship is everything. As Nodt, he was perfect, I felt so bad for him at the end of the episode when at the beginning I was just waiting for him to get his ass beat lol.

Top 5 BLEACH Episode and one of the Best Anime Episodes of All Time
moon_fool15 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The main attraction of this episode was the horror aspect of the scenes surrounding As Nodt. This particular episode elevated the material in the manga even more with amazing visuals, Dali Chen's direction as well as the general sound direction which were amazing. If you watch the episode with headphones on, you can feel the stereo effects put on As Nodt's voice which makes it sound very creepy. The transformation into the Vollstandig was done extremely well as well, with a sprinkle of his backstory put in the middle of the episode. THIS should be the staple on how horror anime should be done. The eyes twitching and moving in separate direction makes it very uncomfortable, but still, you are on the edge of your seat to see more of it. I've watched plenty of horror anime, but this right here is how I feel like horror should be done in anime (tone, direction & sound design/direction.)

I haven't even mentioned Rukia's Bankai yet which was quite the spectacle. Visually one of the stunning looking Bankais in all of Bleach manga was made even more prettier with the transparent designs that they added in the anime with frozen crystals surrounding her. Bleach's variety in the types of battles is very much prelevant in the manga and the season in general has been doing an extremely good job presenting that. (The all-out wrestling brawl in the last episode and "fear vs ice" battle in this particular episode)

All 1 star comments from one piece fans
janos-5289715 August 2023
I don't understand why one piece fans can't be happy without saying anything bad about other anime. Those people haven't watched Bleach yet but give 1 star because it's airing with one piece and one piece fans get jealous see other anime fans happy. I don't hate one piece but one piece fandom are the wrose fandom in anime. Once I talked to one piece fans and tell him I haven't watched one piece yet after hearing this they start abusing me then I decided I will never watch one piece. About this ep as a manga reader I can't get better adaptation than this. It's all thank to Kubo, animation director and animator.

Absolutely stunning
imayreside16 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The rich character development for the Kuchiki siblings is truly touching. The direction and voice acting in this episode was flawless, the moments of fear brought on by Äs Nödt are truly unnerving and grotesque, and his backstory adaptation was a well rounded addition to the episode as well.

When Byakuya shows up to save Rukia he does so without stealing the show, and seeing him acknowledge Rukia after all this time is something that is sure to tug at the heartstrings of any Bleach fan. Rukia receives the final push she needs to conquer her fears and insecurities with Byakuya, and what follows is a visually stunning moment that will not be forgotten.

Rukia's bankai reveal was absolutely beautiful in every sense of the word. The art style and design, coupled with the haunting new OST that accompanies her new form is absolutely stunning. Byakuya comforting his little sister, and helping her safely back to normal was emotional and felt rewarding to see. This is peak fiction.

Beautifull and horrorfying!
and_mikkelsen22 August 2023
This episode was one epic combinqtion og beauty and horror! One minutte you see something of awe, the next.. nightmarerish imagery that is sure to stick with you when the episode ends!

This episode sees Rukia in one of the best fights I have seen! This is more than just fighting an enemy, this is fighting fear itself! There were multiple moments that crawled under my skin! Fear makes you face stuff straight out of a horror movie and you cant escape it!

The animation was god like and the best since "The Fire" from season one! It really captures the sence of beauty and horror!

Overall some amazing development for Rukia, that had me in tears by the end!

PEAK EPISODE
tbtleena15 August 2023
Simply unbelieveable . One of the best episode of this cour . This episode is the perfect example on why bleach is still a great shounen . Rukia's Bankai was perfectly animated . SIMPLY PEAK.

Starts off with Ichigo Kurosaki leaving the Soul King Palace, after completing his training with Ichibe. He flies down to save soul society while letting Kisuke Urahara know. As Rukia is flying around looking to help, As Nodt, the Sternritter of Fear, appears behind her, giving a creepy ominous. Rukia releases her shikai as the two begin to fight. As Nodt attacks with thorns, releasing fear towards Rukia. However, she is able to temporarily freeze the fear, but later learns that she cannot. He later then activates his Volstandig, giving him a horror new look. Byakuya Kuchiki, Rukia's older brother also appears as he also activates his shikai, breaking As Nodt's fear domain. Byakuya lets Rukia finish the fight by activating her bankai, Hakka No Togame. This allows her to freeze her surroundings, killing As Nodt instantly. During the fight, As Nodt reveals his true fear and how Yhwach met him. After this fight, Yachiru, gives Isane some blankets and supplies, when they are attacked by a new invisible enemy.

Bleach and THIS episode iss BEAUTIFULL
xyzeussimbajon14 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Bleach has made a great impact on my life and it made me view things differently.

The losers logic of aizen and urahara. Nietzsche Ubersmensch vs Last man respectively. Aizen saw the soul king as a false god, seeing through the soul societies facade. Rather than succumbing to his nihilism, he chose to evolve the world before him in order to manifest a world that fit his ideals. Urahara on the other hand subjugated himself to the system not because he wants to but maintaining equilibrium was the best course of action he could of done. While aizen got frustrated about the soul king urahara felt empathy for the soul king as he viewed him as someone who sacrificed everything for the 3 worlds balance. And this episode just made me realize that bleach's rukia is more than just a character she's a masterpiece.

I can't begin to describe how beautiful rukia in this episode was. Her bankai made me cry tears of joy. I thank kubo everyday for making this anime.

Why am I seeing comments about One Piece?
theking-oussama15 August 2023
It's the wrong anime you guys. Go give 10 stars to one piece episoded instead of 1 star here.

Eichiro Oda won't pay you to do such things, you're just humiliating yourselves.

As an adult I'm telling you "Be better"

I have necer seen such a toxic fanbase in my life. People are working their asses off to give us masterpieces to watch and enjoy to escape our bloody reality and you guys are comparing them. Damn boys and girls be better. I know my little brothers and sisters are gonna be mad about this for a while but eventually they'll understand what I'm saying. It's only you who talk trash about other animes, while the rest watch and enjoy.

Love your anime, Live your life. Be better

More then i expected
marcinguc14 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The episode was magnificent, from the first second to the end. The voice actors for As Nodt and Rukia did an amazing job (escpecially the moment when As Nodt transforms). The execution scene can shock (even if you knew that it was coming anyway). Biggest fear that i had with tybw was that the usage of 3D was going to be really contrasted and out of place, while that is not a problem at all. The 3D really nicelly blends in into the 2D animation which is pleasing to the eye. The one change from manga that is (in my opinion at least) for the better is the dark-redish/bluish ligth present in the seireitei, that gives the ambience to the invasion of the home of soul reapers. As Nodt, plays a great role of horror character, Fear - our enemy's ability, greatly helps to show that, the gory and defenietly terrifying transformation may make audiences pupils shrink. Now, to the cherriest cherry on top - Rukia's Bankai. Awaited by the Fandom transformation is propabbly the most beautiful in the franchise so far. It is a finishing touch on Rukia's development, and on the episode itself. Overall, the episode is must watch, and i recommend it for everybody :) (PS: Im sorry for any grammar mistakes that may have appeared, but english is not my first language and this is the first reviev i have ever wrote. Anyway thank you for reading :))

Awaited moment, Gorgeous, Emotional Episode
saadurrehman7018 December 2023
Considering how flawless and gorgeous each and every single BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War episode has been so far, this was just as beautiful. But this much awaited Rukia episode was even more special because it was As Nodt vs Rukia, and her elegant bankai's. She was such a beauty... Also love how it was inspired by her pretty Zanpakuto spirit lady!

Not only her pretty, sharp and hot polished appearance stunned me with her brilliant, iconic voice acted out perfectly by Michelle Ruff, the remixed renowned Bleach ost "Nothing Can Be Explained" was even more emotional and bittersweetly stylish towards the end!! The emotions that well up seeing Byakuya so supportive of Rukia, with such tenderness and her heavy breathing was so touching and sensational! Her calm seriousness, and composed voice fighting an increasingly menacing As Nodt was so hot! Absolutely loved this episode when I finally saw it on December 4, 2023 11:50pm! 1:45am.
