Best. Season 35 Episode. Ever
e_daneva16 December 2023
It's a Blunderful Life is an amazing episode. I watched 7 other Season 35 episodes, and there was 1 bad episode, 1 okay, and 6 pretty good. This episode falls in the pretty good category. This is the one of the few Thanksgiving Simpsons episodes. It's a Blundedful life is so good, it is jam packed with comedy and it has a creative couch gag. Every that other Season 35 episodes needed. I like how It's a Blunderful Life is set 60 years in the future, and on the table you can see the kids all grown up from Days of Future Past ( a great Simpsons episode ). One thing that shocked me is when Bart strangled Homer. Bart Simpson's Revenge. I also like the musical number in the episode. It was kind of out of nowhere, but I still loved it. I feel like Comic Book Guy's ( or Jeff Albertson's ) opposite twin brother when I say this, but best. Season 35 episode. Ever. I mean, how can you not like this episode?!? In all, I give this a 8.7 out of 10.

A good thanksgiving special

I was very excited to watch this episode and my expectations were high. I am glad to say that I really liked this episode. It had some good jokes. I was not big about the segments set 60 years in the future, as it felt like filler. They were a bit odd at times and I wasn't very pleased with the writing then. The sequence with Mr burns singing with people was very good. Typically I am not a fan of songs being sung in the Simpsons as it makes me feel a bit uneasy, but I quite liked this although it was a bit too long for my liking. Honestly this is a very good episode even though it has some flaws.

Probably the best episode in years

The episode has a lot of creative jokes on reliance on technology, classic literature, and corrupt billionaires. I've never read "Little House On the Prairie" but I like Yeardley Smith (voice of Lisa) southern accent, which I remember her using in a classic episode in which she's imagining herself living in a trailer where Ralph is her husband. Another funny moment where the town is trying to find a scapegoat saying it's what happens when catastrophe happens.

The only downside is Julie Kavner (voice of Marge) is really downgraded sadly. Other than that probably the best episode in a long time but I don't we'll keep getting more funny one's like this.

Genuinely reminiscent of the classics!

Genuinely great! The joke pace was reminiscent of classic era. It was one after the other and 90% of them were great. I LOVE the inclusion of all the quick little "blink and you miss it" visual gags that i feel like haven't been present in years. I'm happy to see them make use of them again and i'm open to more in the future!

While we've seen several instances of the family being ran out of town, this time, the flashback/Lisa storytelling method provided the fresh new twist needed. Props to Averick on this one! An instant classic Thanksgiving episode and a season 35 highlight to beat! Happy thanksgiving everyone!
