I think I'm finicky about movies; any carelessness in any phase of production will cut the number of stars by half. "All from the Same Dust" is a perfect short film. Maybe you can find something that could have been done better, but I couldn't.
But quality of production aside, the story is worth telling and worth watching. Racism in America is far from being a thing of the past. Here, the work soars above the obvious stereotypes and deals with the subject with grace, beauty and sensitivity. All of us, black or white, can learn something from this film.
