A Little Bit Of All Of Us Hiding in The "Coat Room"
soleckipatricia23 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Beautiful and sensitively written, a true slice of life drawn from the author's own life story (which would make a fascinating movie unto itself!). Jennifer Nangle does a very impressive job as a young woman caught in a family she feels truly does not understand or loves her. Haven't we all felt this tug of war at some point in our lives, male or female, early in our lives or as a sudden burst of knowledge later in life? The author has made Nangle's character easily relatable, and the story flows easily and in a realistic manner. This is one of those movies that stings for a moment as we recognize ourselves in the main character and the pain that she/we feel as we navigate the labyrinth of familial relationships, whether we wish to pursue them or not...kudos to Katie White and an amazing cast and crew!

I <3 Jennifer Nangle

All I can say is that I LOVE Jennifer Nangle!!!! That's about all that can be said in a nutshell but I realize that I have to put way more to get a minimum of 1,000 words. Jennifer does an excellent and fantastic job showing the love/hate relationship that any average family has towards each other and how sometimes how a person just needs to get away from how much stress a family can put on a person. This is a perfect representation of how much stress, of what should be an a enjoyable time, can be. Everyone can relate to this film in some aspect in their lives.

Kudos to Jennifer Nangle & the crew of Coat Room!!!
