This is the first episode of Signed, Sealed, Delivered that I've watched and I was most impressed by its optimism and charm. I know Peak TV now takes a grimmer take (albeit through quality shows of course) on cable and so on, so if you are into mob families bumping each other off whilst the patriarch is getting psycho-analyzed, or you're into dramas about people doing who knows what with country and western robots, then please move on. Signed, Sealed, Delivered isn't for you.
Jeremy Raymond and Jessica Kishner Morgan stand in their fine roles, as does Marilu "Cannonball Run II" Henner.
Here the main plot is the team finding the sender of a letter of yourself into the future, and the surprises and emotions this conjures up. It's a shame the series only had 10 episodes, but good to know it lives on through movies.
