The souls of the trolls. The souls of the peasents, ah my. Where to start in analyzing this? Pretty nice when t swift was trying to control a door knob with her thighs. But thats not what t swift wants us to focus on here. She's saying that wemon get stronger as the time ticks away twards all the eventual silent blackness. If given the option i'd play hocky in my bathroom all night and day with a suitcase of money near by (to pay them away). It would of been years. Then someone i was forced to love would be at the window out there. And i'd stick my arm out and slap the out side wall.

only because she is young and pretty does she get away with this

Like I've said in other music video reviews, first impressions count. A music video is very short, so don't fool about. And Taylor fools about for a long time here, playing the nerd. Okay, so she is brimming over with self-confidence, and she pulls off the gag nicely, but during that first stretch, she lost me there for a while, I go, what if the whole video is like this? And I form an instant, forever-lingering negative opinion.

She won me back with that cute bit 'like, ever' but by then so much damage had been done...

Hate to be such a stick in the mud, but instead of the 7 this one might deserve for its eventual cuteness, I have to punish it with a mere 6.

A music video is a short but golden opportunity, and you have to shine, shine, shine, and shine throughout, so don't play the clown, unless you're coming up with something truly spectacular. Taylor has switched into taking it far too easy far too soon.

Of course, I have also mentioned that she does get away with it. The song is kinda catchy, lingers there in the back of your mind, and she is a spirited performer. Having tongue-in-cheek fun. And fun is what music videos are about.

But I have to be MEAN, even if it's four years too late to serve a purpose.

Warning: Spoilers
There is no real deep meaning in the song or music video for Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", but that is not a problem at all. It's a catchy tune and sometimes breakups can be a really positive thing I guess, especially if one party has been disrespectful to the other in whatever way. This is maybe the message you could get from this song and music video. Swift made it 3 years ago when she was already a pretty big star. And her popularity has grown ever since it seems. Fine for me as I like her and most of her music. I just hope that she can step things up again in the future as her most recent works weren't that great at all in my opinion. But this one here certainly is. Thumbs up and I recommend listening to it.
