Inspiration for the Hormone Monster?
wendymcf12 March 2020
Bart's Puberty Demon was so similar to Maury, the Hormone Monster on Netflix's Big Mouth, it made me check which came first. The Simpsons episode aired in May 2015. Big Mouth didn't debut until September 2017.

Kind of feels like when Marge Banned Sugar

This was awesome.

This made Springfield feel like North Korea almost.

Sideshow Mel just feels out of place in city council.

Of course Ned Flanders doesn't end up in one of those re-education camps for the Bullies.

Enjoyed the high Otto scenes.

Homer and Flanders Episodes Always Delight,
lesleyharris3029 May 2015
Bull-E is a terrific Simpsons episode with a very well written storyline and loads of very funny scenes. The show tackles bullying in this episode in a very funny way, watching it become an anti-bullying law across Springfield, one of the highlights of the episode was certainly Chief Wiggum allowing the most ridiculous acts of bullying pass as genuine crimes. I felt like the episode wanted to address the effect bullying has in the world to a certain degree but gave up half way through, I think it would have been a clever and necessary thing for the series to do and was disappointed they didn't. It further revolves around the complicated relationship that is Homer Simpson and Ned Flanders, I always enjoy seeing these characters together and this was a very sweet moment for them as it revolves around the many issues they have had together in the past. Bull-E is an immensely enjoyable Simpsons.

Marge fights for tougher anti-bullying laws, which lands Homer in hot water.

Best episode this season

Warning: Spoilers
In my opinion, Bull-E was one on of the better episodes this season, and really seemed to explore a little bit into the relationship between Homer and Ned.

It starts off, oddly enough, with Bart reluctantly going to a school dance, which impressed me with it's stunning animation during Bart's dance sequence with a 5th grade girl. This eventually results in Bart getting picked on by the school's bullies, and Marge protests the town's bullying by a good old fashion town meeting.

I won't say the entire plot, but there was a lot in this episode that I liked. Primarily the newly established character arcs between Homer and Ned, the animation during the dancing sequences, and a certain line that Moe gets that had me laughing the hardest I've ever laughed this season.

Best Simpsons episode in years!!
BayernSchweiz13 May 2015
This was quite simply the best Simpsons episode not only in this season but in perhaps the last 3 or 4 years. Note that I've watched all Simpsons episodes that have aired. Bull-E was cleverly written and this was not another episode of The Simpsons that you feel is a Déjàvu of the past and "they already did it before" - almost all of this episode was amazing - riddled with jokes, emotion and facts.

The music used in this episode along with the running jokes we're used to see from The Simpsons are perfectly integrated into the story to make this episode a joy to watch.

For Simpsons fans this would be even more amazing, with The Simpsons still showing signs of being ahead of its time.

A great episode.

The episode: the episode begin with a good argument line about the bulling in the school but the most important in the episode is how the bulling remain in the adult life and everybody can be prey of the bulling in all the ages. the episode is about the treatment of a "hero",the unfair laws, the remorse as well as the lack of receive a correspond apologize from the bully to the the other person and all with a good treatment and funny moments (like the train of Otto) And the most important ,gives a moral lesson about the empathy and how important it's for the being human and the episode enjoy and teach at the same time.
