Amazing Start

This episode marks the beginning of perhaps the greatest arc in all of Gintama, and it couldn't have started in a better way. The amazing pacing, perfect balance of comedy and seriousness, the gradual buildup of tension, all of which culminates in an explosive cliffhanger which completely subverted what I thought this arc was going to be in the best way possible.

Overall a brilliant episode which does an amazing job of setting up the arc to come.

Complete episode that has no flaws, and I, as academic critics, strongly advise that you watch it. Indeed, no one is in a hurry to judge the episode by negative evaluation, because it is an integrated episode and deserves ten.
