Carter broke into Gabriel's compound, although Gabriel is dead, CTU manage to find enough information on his computer to identify the terrorists and their location. For the first time they might just be one step ahead. Also Carter has joined the CTU assault team.

Amira might be heading for a redemptive point to her story as she expressed doubts what her brother was doing but in this episode Amira goes out with a bang as her father tries to convince her to abandon her planned attack.

The terrorists though manage to get hold of Nicole and her brother in law. CTU's news blackout was not good enough, they want Carter to send an IT expert to repair the damaged USB drive.

This felt like an uneven episode, it was flat at times. As always nice to see action from the CTU assault team, it seems the focus will shift to the other sleeper cells.

How Can So Many People in Power Be So Stupid

Are we really supposed to believe that that teenage girl could pull off the whole attack on the GW Bridge? When did that chemistry teacher get the balls to walk in on the terrorists? Also, having to transport Nicole and not realizing they were being monitored. Of course, these are cheap theatrics. Once again, there is no one I really care about. But I've given it this much, I hope it's worth hanging in there.
