Pleasant viewing.

This is a documentary short about a female quartet from Cuba who have gained fame both within Cuba and abroad. Their music is strongly inspired by an Afro-Caribbean beat and throughout the film you hear many songs by these ladies. The music is very nice (some is in English, by the way) and their stories about balancing the home, work and music mildly interesting. The film is well made but nothing about it seems great...just very nice. The bottom line is that if you love this sort of music, you should definitely see this short film. If you don't, you'll still enjoy it but it also makes it a film you do not need to rush to see. I saw it at the Gasparilla International Film Festival in Tampa and the audience seemed to enjoy the picture.
