Best episode of a seriously amazing show

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is my personal favourite and makes me cry from sadness and happiness every time I rewatch it. I'm not a critic but here are some reasons why this show and episode is so amazing.

The Tandy and Lewis story in this episode is an amazing showcase of 2 different people coping with death in the post apocalypse. Lewis goes from a mildly bitter person who has seemingly not yet fully grieved the loss of his partner Mark. I loved how this episode showed how amazing of a character and person Tandy is by showing how much he can help bring hope and love to people even when everything and everyone around them has died before their very eyes.

The dialogue between Tandy and Lewis feels so real and not trying to be overly funny. It takes the death and consequences of the virus seriously and has a great message about optimism, hope, and grief.

The carol and gale storyline is equally touching as Tandy and lewis'. It shows the preservation and evolution of love/relationships in the post apocalypse. The scene where carol says "and because I love you" to gale referring to why she reminds her of her mother seriously makes my heart drop every time. I love how close the characters have become throughout the show. We find out that gale used to have a son and is reluctant to form any family relationships. This changes as she sees how much it means to carol and I think that she also did it because she knows how important love and family is in making the new world.

Todd and Melissa's storyline would be better if January Jones wasn't such an emotionless actress. Love Todd though one of my favourite characters.

The Open-Ended Nature of Unwitnessed Deaths is Another good episode
OurGeneration25 November 2016
In this episode comes out once again the drama, with revelations that come to light as Gail was Mother but his son died before the virus, another success in this is that at least Lewis no longer hates Phil so much, this lies Most of the episode, Phil makes a good gesture of friendship by taking Lewis to Seattle to see if his partner is still there and alive, Lewis remembers the good times with his partner, in the end decides to leave a note in case the doubts , After this Phil does something that sincerely I always hope and it is that I go to Tucson, at that moment I thought, that it was time to know if Mike was alive, but finally Phil decides not to enter the room of Mike, leaving also a Note, leaving us with the mystery that Mike is still alive ?, or maybe he is no longer in Tucson
