Short but sweet

We saw Cautionary Tales at the Foyle Film Festival in company with a small but appreciative audience.

The story is beautifully realised and quickly generates empathy for Aaron, the central character whose existence has been blighted by his affliction. Ross Hatt conveys Aaron's inner life brilliantly, given that the prosthetics required for the role leave him with little more than his eyes with which to communicate.

The film packs a lot into its 8 short minutes and the resolution is as unexpected as it is up-lifting. This is a gem which deserves a bright future.

so...nice

First, it represents a great surprise. Because it is absolutely...perfect. A film about physical imperfection, dramatic, seductive, touching, well crafted scene by scene, with a so impressive - nice end and admirable performances and prosthetic solutions than it has the charme of an old fashion fairy tale. So, so, so...nice.
