Fake pretending to be real
krupsch-3564022 April 2024
Fake show. Looked all over to verify these crimes and not one shred of evidence exists about them. There is no "Jamie Sarno" or other victims.

The show it melodramatic and features "tension building" censes that often ended up having nothing to do with the murder. Background descriptions are vague (because they aren't real) like "her parents were rich but her father drank." Or "She was raised in a foster home somewhere"

Also - I watched 3 episodes that are all the same - 5 people but really 3 are "outside" of the crime they just build it to 5 to make it seem bigger. If you like TRUE Crime - look elsewhere.

True Crime presented as a thrilling mystery drama

Warning: Spoilers
Killision Course presents true murder cases in a way that is reminiscent of drama such as How to Get Away With Murder. Each episode consists of prosecutors and law enforcement telling the story of how a group of people met, who they are, and how they became entangled together. This format lets the viewer try to figure out what turns will come next, and who will end up being the killer and the victim. It's a pleasant departure from the traditional true crime show where the victim is known, and we hear about the evidence that lead to the conviction. In this, we follow in chronological order and finally discover what happened on the night of the killing. The show does tend to skip over things like the investigation, so fit that's something that's critical for you then there may be other shows that work better. There are re-enactments to go with the interviews that really make it feel like you're watching scripted television, only the story is real.
