Legacy of Mandalore

This was an episode that I am able to consider great. I don't think that the season has had an episode like this up till now, but this was definitely what I wanted to see. This actually provided some great development for one of the most important characters in the crew, like the previous episode. I loved being introduced to different parts of her family and culture, and the return of Gar Saxon was also a great little surprise. I had hoped that this arc would have been a little longer, maybe with a two-part episode again, but if this is what we got, I'm happy that they didn't try to stredge it too far. The characters all had some great moments, even though I did miss the other members of the crew, mostly due to the end of the episode, which I think would have been more emotional if the remaining characters had been there. However, as an episode that provided some great emotion and a badass fight sequence, I couldn't have been happier with what the team behind this series gave us this time. I am interested in seeing where they'll go with the story next week. Hopefully, it's more of this.

Wow... what an episode.

Warning: Spoilers
I went into this episode with decent expectations and they were absolutely exceeded beyond my wildest dreams. The story is an emotional one, pitting Sabine and her beliefs against her own clan as well as the wrath of Gar Saxon. The animation is great and choreography of the action towards the end as well as the cinematography and framing were spot on. The episode reminded me of Shades of Reason from Clone Wars and it's not far off in terms of quality either. A great continuation of The Trials of the Darksaber and the Mandalorian rebellion arc.

This is a great episode as it is engrossing, fun and develops the Mandalorian story arc further.

Sabine tries to lead her people to join the rebellion but betrayal and Imperial stooge Gar Saxon bring great danger.

The battles are great. Sabine's character development is excellent and the animation is nice.

My rating: 9/10.

Warning: Spoilers
While I think the previous episode has so far the peak of the season (again, so far), this was a really solid follow-up.

Mandorian stuff just really intrigues me in these animated shows in particular (The Mandalorian is excellent too). Anything having to do with Mandalore is bound to be good at this point. I enjoyed the family drama between Sabine and her relatives, and I'm really starting to love Fenn Rauu as well. The last half of this episode was insanely entertaining by the way. I almost didn't want it to end.

Sabine finally got her moment to truly shine as a character (for two whole episodes too!) and now she's not going back with the Ghost crew yet... Weird. I'm still excited to see where this arc goes next though. I am now on the Sabine bandwagon, and given how crucial Mandalore became in The Clone Wars (especially the final season), I'm sure what is left ins tore here will be really good.

Excellent episode.

Whither Sabine?

Plot; Sabine returns home to Mandalore, seeking to unite her people against the Empire.

Another solid Sabine-focused episode. The various Mandalorian political factions and machinations (dating all the way back to the Clone War series) are a little messy and confusing by this point, but if its finer points were lost on me, the hero's journey arc with Sabine is strong enough to hold it together.

Sabine's choice at the end of the episode certainly came as a surprise, and I'll be curious to see how they keep her story connected to the story at large.
