Complete lack of excitement is depicted in this episode. When Steve, Danny and the crew are kidnapped by that way-out group in the jungle, it really doesn't take much to plan their escape.
Ditto for the second part where Lou, accompanied by his son, goes to Chicago to testify against his former partner who had killed his wife. There he meets with an icy reception from fellow officers and is warned that his life is in danger due to the mob's interest in the accused cop. There is nothing shown where Lou was actually in danger and he keeps talking to the officer on guard to stay way. Will someone please tell me why the son came to Chicago with him to begin with?
