A sad goodbye

Warning: Spoilers
It breaks my heart that Grace Park and Daniel Dae Kim are leaving. They are both incredibly talented actors who will be sorely missed. Kono is my favorite character on Hawaii 5-0.. It won't be the same without her.

I came across this show on Netflix and started binge watching from the beginning. I'm now up to the current season and will have to pay from here on out as I don't have a tv and only watch online. I will buy the first episode of Season 8 and make my decision. It's such a shame that they lost two of the best characters because the people in charge refused to pay them what they are worth. A very stupid decision in my opinion. I guess I'll see what the new people are like and make up my mind from there.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was certainly a lot better than others this season. The subject is terrorism and it appears that Oahu is on the list. Hard to believe that Steve was able to establish a rapport with an Al-Qaeda operative who tells him of an impending attack. How the crew figures out who is behind this and where it shall specifically happen gives us a mesmerizing hour.

Guess who is becoming an investor for that ex-con character who has always made eyes at Kono? This certainly gave us comic relief.

Is Chin leaving the series? That offer to lead a similar squad in San Francisco seems interesting and he hasn't totally shut the door on it.

Warning: Spoilers
Contains spoiler about character!!!

We've seen Hawaii Five-0 interact with the show NCIS: Los Angeles, and NCIS: Los Angeles interact with the show NCIS. All shows are produced by the same studio and they are supposedly all interact with each other even if it's not obvious. So if you think back at NCIS season 7, episode 1 (2009) the terrorist was played by Omid Abtahi, and the character's name was Saleem. He got killed in that episode. That was less than 8 years ago. On this episode the terrorist that tipped McGarret off was played by Omid Abtahi, and the character's name was, again, Saleem. He was supposedly captured 10 years ago (2007) and interrogated by the CIA. Since NCIS: LA and Hawaii Five-0 interact with each other, and NCIS: LA interacts with NCIS, that would mean that Hawaii Five-0 and NCIS interact with each other, not obviously but at least they are on the same page, isn't that correct? How did they bring a terrorist back from the dead?
