Slow and stuff happens

Warning: Spoilers
Asmodeus's kill was kinda lame, the whole thing has been lame. Gabriel might be a good addition later on. Lucifer's bit was funny but dang like i am tired of the goofing around. Jo's character doesn't fit, her trusting Lucifer and being so bold to him is strange. I did end up liking Ketch a bit. I like Charlie but its not like she added anything special here. It's like i don't know...there is no tension building, no dtead

Not too bad

A somewhat slow but alright episode this week from Supernatural.

It was great to see Gabriel get his mojo back and finish off Asmadeus. This season has been good but we there has been a lack or build up to a consistent threat or challenge. The focus has quickly shifted to Michael as the main threat from the other world. Lucifer meanwhile is running heaven which is a hilarious and unreal scenario but he also remains as another villain floating around.

The worst part of this episode was Charlie Bradbury. I cannot stand this character and was pleased to read on other places that a lot of fans feel the same. Out of all the dead characters why would you bring such an unappealing and annoying character/person back. I have never liked or cared for her and just when we were all thrilled she was dead and gone they drag her back in. There have been many favourites who have hit home runs on the show, Charlie is not one of them. Another idea could have been having a former villain as a good character in the other world but I digress.

And indeed they did

Warning: Spoilers
Just not who we were expecting. While I'm disappointed that we still didn't get Jack or Mary back yet, the return of Charlie in Apocalypse World was a well received surprise. Now with Bobby and Kevin, I have a third reason to like Apocalypse World. Also, it's so good to have Gabriel back to his old self but he is a dick for sure for walking out on the boys after everything they did for him. And the dispatching of Asmodeus is slightly disappointing but I don't believe he is dead for sure (he did have some of Gabriel's powers after all). Either way, the acting on Jensen's part was overall the strongest point of the episode. I love when Dean gets emotional and it is always a great way to end on a high note, albeit a sad high note.

Warning: Spoilers
It's been a great episode. Gabriel got his archangel mojoback and killing the azmodeus is a kickass moment. Meanwhile dean and Kutch teamup in despair apocalyptic world to get back his mom and Jack the nephlim. During this period Lucifer trying to be like his father and trying to be god is not so digested. The episode marks the return of very beloved Charlie .which brought me tears to see her again ❤

Has a slapdash quality to it

There a few moments in this episode that are rather nice. I.e. Dean and Ketch finally seeing eye to eye. But the overall structure of it is slap together with no real central story. I always think Loki's restoration is too quick. This like too much of season 13 feels rushed and impatient. As if the writers wanted to move onto the next big idea without fully chewing the prior material.
