Penny Junor is committing character assassination on Diana
andredejongh23 January 2022
Horrible 'documentary'.... Penny Junor seems to be very biased... as are others in this cheap 'documentary'. Diana should have been stronger and less sensitive and not expect a romantic idea of a husband who would support her and love her, is the shared view of these people, who are verbally creating this Image of Diana Spencer. 'If she would have had a stronger personality, she would have survived'. Someone else says about the 19 year old Diana, that she was charmed by the idea of becoming Queen and thus that was the main reason for her to get into this marriage. In stead of the very plausible idea that a 19 year old (she was a virgin) was smitten by this handsome Charles figure. Junor easily says she has a damaged background. Charles also of course has a damaged background, but Penny Junor then avoids calling this a damaged background. No, he has 'lack of confidence', she says. Furthermore Penny J is emphasising that as a child Diana was never sticking at anything... she repeats these words a couple of times: never sticking at anything. As if Diana was feeble, not focused and again 'weak'. Normal people would say Diana, as a child, was looking for things that would fit her. And that it is very healthy for her to not continue doing things if these things don't fit her personality. Also is emphasised that Diana wasn't very well educated. Well, neither is the Queen and neither are most of the royals. And neither are the majority of the British people! And Charles isn't either a brainy physicist, mathematician or heart surgeon. He's one of the few Windsors that went to university, but come on: he studied history and cultural anthropology. Everyone can get a Master's degree in these subjects. So, no this is cringy to watch. It is a total defamation of character.

This is absolutely disgraceful!

The whole documentary is about to slam Diana and put all the responsibilities on her. The whole cast and producer etc should be ashamed! Particularly penny junor comments just made me sick.

Constantly saying it's Diana's fault that she outshined Charles and of course he would take it wrongly.. Regarding Diana's accident the comments were just ridiculous. They put the fault on them and of course it was an "accident ". The whole world knows it was NOT an accident!

This documentary made me sick to my stomach and it was hurtful to watch every comment was digging her. Have some respect to her memory and stop lying.

Warning: Spoilers
I could not believe the way they tried to portray Lady Diana. Well that just shows to me they were jealous on her because people loved her so much. Her friend only appeared few times in the documentary. I watched it because l thought it is a " celebration of life", that they will show the beautiful charitable life Lady Di had, the beautiful, honest, sincere soul she had, not the way they tried to make her look. I do not recommend anyone seeing this! Just do not watch it,please! Shame on all of those who participated and talked it such a dishonest way. In my point of view they tried to make Charles and the Queen look better in the public eye. Well, i can just see the injustice that Diana had to go through in her life, but with all of that she shined through it all! Rest in peace, beautiful angel!
