The US AG gives the NY AG Paul Giamatti (Chuck) an order to prosecute a prisoner who killed a prison guard. Of course, the NYAG goes off and plots as usual to dismiss the case. During the episode, Brietbart News is mentioned as is the New York Times. The show then goes on to attempt to make Chuck appear honest and above board to pursue all the cases that they have shelved in the past year.
This is beyond stupidity as the show has clearly defined the New York AG and company as corrupt as heck, which in reality is true. I just feel the writers are obsessed with Donald Trump and are now letting it affect their writing.
