Seven well-known British personalities, with differing faiths and beliefs, meet in northern Portugal to travel by foot, road and train along the 364km modern Catholic pilgrimage to the famous sanctuary in the city of Fatima.
With under a week to go before they join tens of thousands of people in Fatima for the annual celebration of the Miracle of the Sun, the pilgrims decide to speed up their journey. They visit a sanctuary and a tomb and try suckling pig.
In Coimbra, there are visits to a convent, a mosque and a synagogue. Finally, after 14 days and 364 kilometres, the group reach the famous Sanctuary of Fatima where they join 70,000 people from around the world at the celebrations.
