Funny spy spoof
Woodyanders7 December 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Smooth super spy Lee Neville (a likable performance by John McCafferty) faces off against nefarious criminal mastermind Blohard (a lively portrayal by Alfie Pearl) and several of Blohard's goons.

Writer/director Mark Pirro pokes blithely silly fun at the James Bond series (Neville is even called 014!), keeps the amusing and enjoyable story zipping along at a brisk pace, and maintains an amiable lighthearted tone throughout. Moreover, it's acted with zest by an enthusiastic cast: Bobbi Dorsch as alluring double agent Lotta Goodstuff, Jeri Lee Ott as sexy vamp Pink, Zachary Harris as fearsome hulking henchman Eyes, and Charles Walker as fussy disapproving superior W. A chase sequence with Neville ripping around the streets of Las Vegas on a souped-up skateboard rates as a definite goofy highlight. The funky score offers lots of cool variants on John Barry's famous 007 theme. The overdone sound effects and lovably chintzy (not so) special effects further enhance the overall infectiously zany charm of this dippy hoot.
