Long time since the creator, Miles Miller directed an episode and he succeeded in creating one of the season's best episodes. Giving us backstory and new light on the Black Lotus also introducing a surprising character. The cinematography and camera work were great, so was the landscape they shot in, stunning sets and landscape. The fight sequences were incredible, some of the best as it felt more natural and not the supernatural fighting that there can at times be. Daniel Wu has it both, acting skills and a fantastic martial artist. Just seeing him in the fight sequences and thinking about the incredible choreography that goes in with them is simply fantastic as the stunts are better than perfect. I can't wait to see the war to come, from the teaser I've to say I'm hyped.
Some of my favorite moments of the episode was seeing the Black Lotus base of operations and seeing the whole story arc that was going on there as it was done with such perfection, having the perfect pace. Another moment that I liked was the scenes with The Widow and The Master, I felt like the dialogue and overall writing was great there.
