The only bad thing about the show is it's just 8 episodes !!!! Why !!!!!

Eight weeks of Christmas, eight hours of thrill, comedy sci-fi , action and drama , eight hours taste like The Nutcracker of Tchaikovsky which i'm writing this review while listening to. This show needs to go bigger , oh it will go bigger,, the Idea is so original , the script is strong and mixed yet so easily followable ,, the whole thing of an imaginary friend seeking for the kids father to save his daughter was home-run for the creator/writer the Scotsman Grant Morrison which was that average writer in Gotham and Batman series till he drop this genuine masterpiece.

As i mentioned the show talks about an imaginary friend who try to find his kidnapped "kid friend" by being visible to the father of that kid , and then the chase begin and the story unravel itself with more and more fast comedy mixed with action and emotional scenes.

The cast choice was the best i'v could have wished for ,,,Christopher Meloni is one of the best actors who excelled in serious spontaneous dark comedy, but he hadn't had much luck since he left Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and since then he stared in one series "recommended" comedy "Surviving Jack" were he was amazing in ,, up until now ,, this needs to be his door for an Emmy or a Golden Globe or any major award, because he is damn worth it ... the other who played "Francisco Scaramucci", "Det. Meredith", "Hailey ", "Amanda", "Mikey ", "Bad Santa" and the amazing Patton Oswalt who was the voice of Happy ,, the all were engaging and brilliant.

Cinematography and special effects perfect, soundtrack .., well of course ,.,

Finally, the series has officially been renewed, "no surprise in there" ,, but i really wish for more episodes, this is SyFy ,, it's not HBO or Netflix or any of those who are bound and limited by 10 or 13 episodes ,, we need a 20-22 episodes second season ,, i know it would be a struggle as i believe it suppose to premiere next December :D but still please more episodes per season. see you next Christmas ;)

Warning: Spoilers
After 7 episodes of sheer gilliamesque brilliance; this episode was a fitting end with new doors opening and somes closing properly. Reservoir dogs scene just got me dying. I want to hug all the people who took part in this show.

It's only the beginning.

I think happy is more dangerous than Nick. Expecting what will be the suprises in next season. The real team up will be seen in that.

I Am the Future

Warning: Spoilers
Overall I would call Happy's first season a success, but some of the episodes were boring and the season finale kind of lost its message too.

Some entertaining parts, but it was too cliched with Nick dying (and then faking his death) and the good guy saving the day.

For the second season give us a more coherent premise with a clear villain, not a drunk Santa claus and some weird ant people.
