It may not have been as much of a disaster this season as many expected, but as someone whose only stake in these shows and finding new, talented singers to follow and enjoy listening to this wasn't a high point.
Maddie rightfully won, but there was nothing special about her performances tonight. She has a unique tone, but I think you should need a stronger voice to win a series like this. Still, I wish her the best moving forward.
