Yet again, Lisa has to ruin everything for everyone because she isn't the center of attention. Does anybody have a count on the number of times that Lisa has sabotaged Bart's success?

This Was A Meh Episode, Like Most Of Them These Days.

I feel like this episode was desperately trying to cater to today's audience, desperately trying to be modern. I think this episode had a very specific demographic in mind, people who play video games. I do not play video games, so therefore I found this episode very boring and skippable.
One of the peaks in modern Simpsons

This is one of the greater episodes of modern Simpsons. I love how it has a gaming feel to it; like ACTUAL gamers.I love pop culture references that are connected to video gaming, and some other pop culture references as well. I'm a gamer myself, so I can relate to Bart and Milhouse, and all the other gamers that are featured in the episode. The only flaws with this episode were that Lisa was again being a jerk as she isn't the center attention (seriously she never wants Bart to succeed), and Marge's laugh was a bit weird and off. But this episode was more amazing than the recent episodes we've seen in the last few years. Also, the jokes were pretty good.
Same problem "Jazzy and the Pussycats" and "Smart and Smarter" had.

Whenever another member of the Simpsons family has success, Lisa ends up ruining it and/or making attention be all about her. Just like on "Jazzy and the Pussycats" and "Smart and Smarter", Lisa gets jealous. Homer gets interested and coaches Bart and his team for a gaming tournament to earn lots of money. Of course Lisa doesn't agree with it and starts getting more jealous when Homer and Bart get to go to South Korea for the gaming tournament. Because of Lisa's manipulation, Homer cuts out the power and ruins Bart's career and the chance of winning the money. Yeah, Homer was the one to cut the power, but like I said, it was because of Lisa's manipulation that he did that. "Smart and Smarter" had Lisa jealous of Maggie because an IQ test found that she was smarter than her, causing her to look for something else and then run away making everyone worry about her, and "Jazzy and the Pussycats" has Lisa and Marge sabotaging Bart's drumming career, basically to say that only Lisa should be the talented and smart one of the Simpsons family.

Not Funny With a Bad Moral

E My Sports is a bad episode. I haven't watched the whole season 30, but I know that there are some bad episodes like Bart vs. Itchy and Scratchy and D'oh Canada. To me this is a bad episode. In the episode Homer ruined Bart's gaming match because he felt zen. That is just complete Jerk-a** Homer. This episode wasn't that funny too. It only had two funny moments, when the pro gamer quit when he lost a match and when Homer was too fat for second class. Besides, the Simpsons have already done this. Remember, in Season 18, Marge Gamer? I also think that this has a bad moral. There were three morals that I picked up along the way. One was play video games constantly . Another was ruining something that someone worked hard for is good. The last is blame someone for something they didn't do. Unlike Homer vs. The 9th Amendment, they didn't add humor to those bad morals to make them enjoyable. In all, I give this episode a 4.8 out of 10.
