I wish Girlfriends would give authorship and crew credits on their DVDs, as this edition of their "Sisters" series seems to have had a real scriptwriter for a change, and some solid direction.

We're introduced to them slightly drunk after an evening out on the unspecified town, both complaining about the crude guys they've had to deal with. When they recall some French kissing and other unwelcome advances endured, a demonstration in their hotel room goes a bit too far, and both are a bit sheepish over a more-than-sisterly soul kiss.
This set-up results in a highly rewarding pair of sex vignettes, tailored to fit the intriguing situation of them both going to sleep, carefully positioned apart at the edges of the queen-sized mattress, each erotically dreaming about a beautiful woman recently encountered at the hotel. They're paired off, respectively, with lovers Veruca James and Sara Luvv, and the sex is hot in both vignettes. But the result, of calling mom & dad to reveal they're lesbians (Karmen has yet to come out of the closet until now) makes for a powerful ending.
