First Dud

I have finally got around to watching this TV series and am very glad that I have. I love this show and the actors and creators of Tacoma FD. They continue to bring a cohesive ensemble cast to a new project and provide content that is devoid of politically correct dialog.

I have to say that this is the first dud episode so far. Andy's behavior at B-Team felt forced. Dressing him up in that ridiculous costume and singing an idiotic song was embarrassing!

On the other hand, Frenchie's character was very welcome, however. This episode wasn't a total loss. Still worth a watch because of the folks who created it.

The B-Team

Warning: Spoilers
There were some funny moments in the episode for sure, but overall the premise did not work.

We knew what would happen and it just felt forced that both sides would eventually sour on the new guy when there was no reason to.

If this was the Pilot, there would be no Tacoma FD.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode makes the argument in favor of AI generated writing, because this episode was terrible. A slap in the face to an otherwise enjoyable show. The premise bland and unoriginal along with zero comedic value. I urge everyone to skip it and not taint your expectations.

The premise of a shift verse b shift, or days vs nights, is a real and common part of all types of work that requires multiple shift workers. To make the premise A gets a man who can cook and there is a cooking battle and B is a group of nice welcoming people has ZERO basis in reality and actively prevents you from enjoying it.

Let's make a documentary about Coca Cola, then proceeds to write a story about truffle hunting in Antarctica where a guy just happens to have a coke alarm clock would make as much sense. It was a terrible interpretation of a premise, and lacked any enjoyment that just happened to occur in a fire house.
