Event Horizon (1997)

Its good until the end

This is one of the only movies I've ever been scared at. There are some very suspenseful scenes that made me quiver. However I must say that I thought there were going to be some kind of creatures in this movie and that added to my fear. The acting is fairly good and so is the plot, save the ending. The ending is so ridiculous that it takes away from the intensity of the movie. So if you watch this movie you should turn it off before the last 20 minutes. It'll save you the disappointment. 6/10

Wing Commander (1999)

Not The Best But Its Definetly Not Boring

People are way too hard on this movie. The acting is better than average and action is awesome. This alone makes up for the weak plot and so so special effects. And it moves at such a pace that it is impossible to be bored unlike Star Wars Episode 1 where I sat through that entire pod race scene wondering when it was going to end. I'm not saying that this is better than Star Wars but I could watch this movie over and over which is something I couldn't say for Star Wars. (***/****)

Dark City (1998)

Possibly the greatest movie of all time

This movie is absolutely fantastic. I cared for the characters more than I ever have for any other movie. And the special effects are fantastic (like those of the Matrix but on a much smaller scale). There is also a plot twist that will surprise even the most astute movie goer. 10/10
