Azul y Blanco (2004)
3/10
Romeo y Julieta "a la chilena"
5 January 2008
When enemy members of the two main Chilean soccer teams, Azul (Juan Pablo Saez - el Billy, el Leyton) and Paloma (Tamara Acosta) meet in a fight after a soccer game they fall in love at first sight.

They run away through the night in the streets of Santiago, while two groups search for them, when they meet, it happens the inevitable.

Most of the actors come from TV soap novels but the newcomer Ricardo Robledo (Lautaro) plays his role of bad guy better than some consolidate actors.

Similar to "taxi para tres" not only because of the slang, but also two of the three main characters appear here also Luis Dubó (Ona) and Daniel Muñoz. Also Pablo Macaya and Tamara Acosta appear together again (as previously in "el chacotero").

Lots of street fights, the special appearance of Ivan Zamorano, (el pichichi, before the Transantiago), a good choice of metal music and a sex scene from Tamara Acosta (again, like previous in "el chacotero sentimental", "Te amo made in Chile", etc. ) makes this movie nice for a Saturday evening.

Great acting and direction among Chilean movies.
9 April 2007
I had this movie for months, but coincidently I just watched it last night on Easter Sunday and finished watching it at 23:59...

There are very few Chilean movies I may consider as well directed and well acted, and I have seen a lot of them (~50). If you think most actors of Chilean movies come from TV soaps, you can hardly believe them when they (over)act in movies.

Anyway, in "La Sagrada Familia", Paty Lopez appears knocking the spectator with her character, she slowly develops it until she shows the real face, which anyway has a lot to do with the real Paty Lopez I think. She fits perfectly into the character. Could not help but identify myself in various scenes of interacting (not the gay ones, ehem!). Absolutely recommendable. Go watch it! 8 of 10.

Bad, Bad, Bad!!!
7 October 2006
Probably one of the worst movies I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot of bad movies). Everything is wrong in the movie; the acting, the plot, the camera, the script, it's almost unbelievable. Maybe if I had seen it when I was 10 it could have liked some of it, but now, there's nothing to rescue. Not even for a sci-fi movie. I don't think watching the movie with friend would make it more fun as I read in others comments. All the scientists are crazy and follow the same stereotype (even the same faces). Remember the scene when squeezing alien balls? Not even gory but disgusting. I read it won an award for special effects... C'Mon, I could have made better in my home. 1of10 is final.
