Starsky & Hutch (2004)
Brilliant!
When I first heard that Owen and Ben will be teaming up again I thought great, when I heard it's gonna be Starsky and Hutch I thought perfect. What can I say, I loved it. Every second of it. It was wonderful notalgic and a brilliant groove. They both seems so in ease which each other on screen. A fantastic piece of comedy which stands out against a whole bunch of other 70's TV Classic who recently hit the screen. This movie contains so much memorable quotes that I have to see it over and over. All the guest-stars doing an awesome job as well, especially comedic genius Will Ferrell. Snoop Dog really "is" huggy bear, and the soundtrack simply rocks. Who would have thought that Owen Wilson can sing? Definitely worth waiting for the DVD, which hopefully will contain a commentary by both Wilson and Stiller. Can't wait for that one. I hope those two are gonna join forces on the screen again, either as Starsky and Hutch (it screamed sequel) or a new creation. There is nothing more entertaining than them.
The Low Life (1995)
One of those rare movies...
that takes you in completely. I can't help but noticing that many people praise Sean Astin. I agree, he is wonderful in that role. He makes the audience feel with him. But still I think this is definetely Rory Cochrane's Movies. His performance is so incredibly good, that I saw that movie three times in a row. There never was any doubt that Mr. Cochrane is a very, very talented Actor, but he just shine's out in "the low life". Yes, the movie is somewhat depressing, but it's Cochrane's play to thank for, that the viewer can still enjoy the whole movie. I really can't believe that I just recently saw it for the first time. To bad there might never be a DVD, finally a movie worth buying. bibi Germany
24 (2001)
television's greatest
I think this is may be one of the most thrilling series I've ever seen on TV. Cast and Crew did an incredibly good job on this. Every time one Episode is finished I can't wait to see the next one. Kiefer Sutherland's acting is perfect, no wonder he got a golden globe for it. The camera is perfect, the music great...I do hope this kind of series will show more people how exciting television can be. It doesn't always have to be a blockbuster movie. And you got not 2hours but 24 instead. I'll have to say, I'm impressed how well written the story is. Amazing. A must see
