Roger Waters: The Wall (2014)
Roger Waters - a very courageous man
I am a 67 year-old retired industrial electrician. Tonight, I watched this for the second time. My hat is off to Roger Waters for producing this. Being anti-war is a very unpopular thing to be these days.
If every young person in the so-called "free world" really knew who and what was behind all of our wars, not another war would be fought. It behooves everyone to watch the documentary on YouTube called "All Wars are Bankers' Wars."
Thank you.

Lawrence of Arabia (1962)
Not what I expected
Having read the book "Dr. Zhivago" many times and also having watched the
movie of the same name many times, I obtained a DVD of "Lawrence of
Arabia" and proceeded to watch it. I figured that since this movie had received
many good reviews, it would be an excellent movie.
After watching the first hour of the movie, I was not all that impressed with it.
I did finish watching the movie and probably will never watch it again. The
actors did a good job but the movie reinforces my belief that ALL WARS are
not about establishing peoples' freedom but are instead about making rich
individuals richer and furthering the economic and political interests of the
participating (winning) countries.
This film certainly added credence to my opinion of WARS that much more.
I do NOT watch TV and if I was to go into any movie rental business, I would
not recognize 99% of the titles because I have never watched them or even
heard of them.
I am a 67 year-old retired industrial electrician and I like watching movies
that are "believable" or possibly "could have happened." Obviously, I am not
a movie "critic" by any means.
Hoffa (1992)
Excellent and well-made movie!
I purchased a new copy of this movie from a seller who listed it on one of the internet "for sale" sites; I had checked with my library and also with the video rental store in my area and neither one had the movie available.
I had just finished reading the 400+ page book, "Hoffa," by Arthur A. Sloane, Ph.D. Mr. Sloan's book told both the good and the bad about Jimmy Hoffa. I learned by reading the book that Jimmy Hoffa typically worked 16-hour days, six and sometimes seven days a week. I also learned that Jimmy Hoffa neither smoked, drank liquor or ever cheated on his wife.
The movie realistically portrayed Jimmy Hoffa as doing his utmost for his Teamster members. The movie also realistically portrayed that the two paramount concerns that Jimmy Hoffa had were for his family and for the rank-and-file members of his union.
In my opinion, Jimmy Hoffa's downfall was that he chose to associate himself with organized crime, which in the end cost him his life.
