The Words (2012)

One of the best Movies ever made.

I have nothing yet everything to say about this movie.

Few movies blew my mind this much.

There's Awesome movies, like memento, donny darko, inception etc.

Then you have a category that doesn't belong to anything, they are simply classics because they are simply good beyond anything.

Like The Matrix, Vanilla Sky, The Man from Earth, a Beautiful mind and This movie, The Words.

When you finally understand this movie, you get the answers to a lot of questions. Answers that can only be explained by from one human to another, soul to soul, mind to mind, an eye for an eye. It takes time to explain it, and the one who did this piece of art, deserves the Nobel price.

There's one very simple explanation for this whole movie, yet so few understands it.

Stop looking in the past, look forward.

Pitch Perfect (2012)

Trust me, this is NOT my favourite genre when it comes to movies, most musicals are horrible, the only one I liked was Moulin rouge and Johnny Cash ofc, If that can be called a musical.

The main problem with musicals is obviously, the music itself. Its probably a lot harder than most people think to pick the right music for a musical and there's so many genres out there that most people never heard of at all, there's only one way to go with this, they have to go with the most popular pop records or more or less known classics here and there.

Im myself a Trance fan, that doesn't mean that I enjoy "normal" music, for example Rihanna, Girls Aloud, or even Nicki Minaj's Super Bass. And around that is basically what you can expect from this movie.

Im quite sure, that most boys/men who watched this turned it of at the start when the so called ( on pirate-bay ) "gay guys" come running in screaming... erhm, singing... BUT Don't, if you'r a open person that enjoys all kinds of genres and love music, you will LOVE this movie.

This movie is one of the years best, sure, sometimes it gets to much but I forgive that, because they turn it around from to much to perfect.

Acting is good by most parts Music is insane. Entertainment value is insane.

But the biggest part I took noticed of was the "mixing" the girl was aiming for in the last performance.

As a huge Trance fan, you get to know what mixing is all about, and they almost nail it in this movie, the transitions between songs are excellent and the small touches of other songs during the songs is excellent.

If you love music, you will love this.

On a entertainment level, which I review all my cases in, I give this a 9 out of 10.

Resident Evil: Retribution (2012)

Is it really that bad?

There really isn't much to say about this movie in all honesty.

Its the worst of them all, and the story line is nonexistent.

But is it really that bad? Both yes and no.

Most RE fans will watch this movie regardless if had 0.1 out 10. Most of you will actually enjoy the 1.5 hour of entertainment if offers you.

However, it is hard to actually explain why this is so bad.

The characters are disappointing ( except Ada Wong ) The story line is disappointing.

However, the VFX is by todays standard quite amazing, and thats the main reason you go see this movie, well, and to follow the "story"

The action however, gets stupid many times, thats why the effects sometime feels like a waste of space and time.

6/10 is probably to high tbh, but I'm speaking mainly for the fans of the RE genre, and if you really think back after watching this movie you find out that the story really isn't that bad.

So why is it so bad yet it isn't?

The problem occurs here when the very very bad of music, effects, action, acting, story etc-etc gets mixed up with some of the very well made moments of the movie, you don't know what the hell to say about it at all and just finds everything confusing.

What bothers me most personally is all the unrealistic moments that occurs with movies like this tho.

For example: When the bad guys always miss with their weapons, people scream just to reveal themselves, or when the bioweapons activated by the red queen have spikes trough their entire body and a big bag around their face can see everything around them and have to carry a big axe as weapon instead of just using a super-big mini-gun with thousands of bullets. I guess there's a random reason for that as well ( after all they are inside umbrella and they control the entire environment )

Or... when they never go out of bullets, yet they are almost completely naked.

This is what you have to take tho, so many movies made loads of these big mistake's that they are commonly accepted probably.

Eaither way, the movie is worth watching for the end only tho, I promise.

Golden Arts scores this movie a 6/10. Its not worth paying for IMO, still worth watching when you have time to kill.
