Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
2 September 2014
I don't think anyone could possibly sum this movie up in any word but "perfect". It's so perfect that every time I watch it, I rate it one star higher. 10 stars is TRULY an understatement. This movie is one of--if not THE-- best movies I have seen. The characters and story mix together perfectly. The story is about a dull, shy man, Joel Barish, meets and falls in love with an eccentric, fantastically unique girl, Clementine Kruczynski. He learns she erased him from her memory and he does the same to her after learning this. That's all I will say, so I won't spoil anything. Now. I love this girl. I haven't loved a character like this ever since Ramona Flowers (I dunno, I have this thing for girls with unnatural hair colors). ANYWAYS. You will love her too. And you'll love Joel too. And You'll feel a deep sorrow for all the other "unfortunate souls", except Patrick. You will want to kill that little rat. I. Hate. That. Guy. But never fear, losers never win... The story and some of the movie may or may not make sense to some viewers (I understood it JUST enough the first time but I'll have to say that the second time watching it was BETTER.) And that sorta reminded me of when I watched Inception. You catch more that way. This is an intelligent, down-to-earth, loving, sad, triumphant, and deeply emotional (even if you rebuff your emotions 100%, you WILL get emotional. Because it's THAT good).

And another thing, this isn't a mushy-gushy romance (BONUS!! I'm fist pumping) and I recommend watching this on a date, it will appeal both genders. I don't know what else to say other than I absolutely loved this movie. I don't know whether or not you'll like it but there's gotta be a reason you looked up this review. You're at least a LITTLE interested....

Anchorman: Best Comedy Ever
21 February 2014
'Anchorman' has to be my favorite comedy OF ALL TIME. If you're in desperate need of a seriously funny movie, I suggest this to you. It's a goofy film, and has a quite enjoyable story-line. You won't be able to stop laughing(just like any other Will Ferrell movie). Make sure to keep an inhaler with you, because you may stop breathing at times.

All the characters are personable, and it's pretty difficult to pick which one you liked best. I would give this movie a 10, but of course this movie isn't perfect.

I don't suggest this movie to "younger" viewers. There is quite a lot of sexual innuendo, and a few uses of the "f***" in one scene, but only for humor purposes of course. The violence in this movie isn't bad at all, again, it's only meant for humor. I suggest anyone 14 and up can watch this movie.

I hope you enjoy 'Anchorman' as much as I did, but in the meanwhile...

You stay classy, San Diego~

Jacob's Ladder -- A movie you can't afford to pass up
15 February 2014
"If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. If you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth..."

'Jacob's Ladder' is a true masterpiece. I'd heard of this in the past, but never actually watched it. I regretted not watching this earlier. Every second of this movie kept me on the edge of my seat. "Jacob's Ladder" is a psychological thriller, about the Vietnam War. You can't find a more interesting and thrilling feature that is better than this. It is tragic, dark and quite disturbing. I enjoyed this movie a lot, and I hope you do too. So please, watch this movie. You WILL love every second of it.

In Bruges (2008)

In(Bruges)credible

"In Bruges" was an absolute masterpiece. It's a dark, sentimental, and action-packed dream! The characters mixed perfectly together, and the plot was interesting the whole way through. I laughed throughout, and I was in tears too. I was browsing Netflix, just looking for a movie with my family, and picked this. I'm so glad we did! I loved this beyond words and enjoyed every second of it. 10 out of 10 is an understatement. "In Bruges" has to be one of the best movies i have seen. I recommend mature audiences only, at least parental guidance of course. There is coarse language, and a little bit of gory violence. There isn't too much sexual content, and there is a few moments showing the use of cocaine(snorting). Other than that, it's OK. If you're looking for a GREAT movie, watch this.

Amazing.
29 August 2013
Warning: Spoilers
I don't think I have ever seen a movie, as powerful yet light-hearted as this... "Jeff, Who Lives at Home" pulls off the perfect combination of sweet and sour, and rather well. There are two brothers, Jeff and Pat, who have lost contact for years. Jeff, obsessed with the thought of omens/signs, lives in his mother's basement. Pat, a married and somewhat successful man, finds out his wife is having an affair... This is a movie that will make you smile and cry. I haven't found a single moment in this movie that was boring or dull. I was intrigued with the plot and it's characters. All the characters are pretty likable. You feel sympathy for them because they're all suffering, and struggling with difficult situations. And Jeff still manages to pull them all back together again... This movie is absolutely amazing. If you like comedies/dramas, with a touch romance and adultery, I highly suggest this title to you. Don't pass up the chance to watch this movie, you'll be missing out on a great movie...

Batman: Absolute Perfection
28 August 2013
I found that "Batman: Year One" was an amazingly entertaining and powerful movie (the best batman I've seen in a long time!). I haven't read the Graphic Novel before, but I'm sure, after watching this that it's a fantastic, well-written novel... The animation was the best I have ever seen in a long time. The story/plot was tantalizingly fabulous, I wish there were more to watch! I never saw Lieutenant Gordon as the versatile, hero he actually is. It's exciting, action-packed, sleazy and interesting. It'll definitely keep you well entertained for the hour and 4 minutes... There isn't a moment in this movie that I found boring or lame. The story is solid and ingenious! The casting was perfect. Never would have guessed Bryan Cranston to play James Gordon or Ben McKenzie as Batman but it blends perfectly... I highly suggest this to all; either your a Batman fan or not you're sure to find that this movie is Five-Star worthy...
